The Amazing Spider-Man 2 What villain would you like to see in Amazing Spider-man 2?

Marvel does seem to really be bounded in science related villains, I just thinking about that last night. Alot of Marvel is built on science. I had alot of trouble figuring out a Spidey villain who wasn't related to some science project gone wrong. I mean there is Morbius but he even has a scientific origin, Hammerhead? I don't actually know too much about how Hammerhead got that steel plate in his head. The science isn't a bad thing its just something I never thought to deeply about before. I think the DC universe has more fantasy elements than science.

Thats true. However I feel having the Kingpin as a villain would steal Kingpin away from a Daredevil film.

well isn't there another gangster in the Spider-man universe, like Silvermane or the Owl. Not really familiar with the mob of spider-man villains.

I have always wanted to see shocker at the start of a movie with him robbing a bank and then being stopped by Spider-Man, a nice opening to start with a bang.

As for the main villain I voted for Electro. I still remember James Cameron's script where he had Electro as some kind mob boss, which I think is something different and interesting (Since Kingpin's rights are with Fox).

The ending of ASM 2 should having Norman trying to cure himself but something goes wrong causing the lab to explode setting him up for ASM3 as the Green Goblin and death of Gwen and they could also set it up with Doc Ock waking up in ASM 4 as he too was involved in the explosion since their going with the Ultimate route.

The Kingpin rights are with Sony

It is best to use Kingpin as a mob boss with Electro/Shocker introduced as his hitman(To provide cinematic action)

Kraven would make a interesting Villain i can see the story be something like, Kraven coming to NY to hunt Spidey and he realizes he is to weak to hunt Spidey and goes to Oscorp and uses a unfinished Goblin Serum to make him stronger and hunts Spidey down I can imagine Kraven tracking Spidey to his school or something it would make the film real exciting

Can we just see a version of Kraven's Last Hunt on screen? Please? I would die a happy man. It may be too dark for a Spidey film, but the subtle subtexts of the story would translate perfectly to the screen.

I mean, The Green Goblin is a must, with another key villain as a supporting villain: Ock, Electro, Mysterio, etc.

But I'd like to see some version of The Sinister Six attempted:

Goblin
Ock
Rhino
Electro
Vulture
Mysterio

Scorpion can be a "cameo" villain in one of the sequels, as can Kraven. Decent concepts, but not appropriate to carry a film.

It's pretty clear that Norman Osbourne had the Parkers killed and Oscorp will be creating more genetic based villains in the future. If Oscorp wants to capture Spider-Man and subject him to human experimentation it seems likely to hunt him down Mac Gargan will be turned into the Scorpion with the conditions he will only be cured when he is able to bring in the Spider-Man. After the Scorpion fails to bring in Spider-Man and dies instead Kraven the Hunter puts his services to good use and goes after Peter instead. He may already be a hired gun for Oscorp that helped kill the Parkers.
