THE STRANGE POSSESSION OF MRS. OLIVER ( 1977)

Whenever I see the name Karen Black, I know I'm gonna be in for some great acting, and great entertainment .
The Strange Possession Of Mrs. Oliver , doesn't disappoint.
As usual, Karen Black pulls off a great performance ,and has the uncanny ability to shift with effort and ease from the studious and reserved Mrs. Oliver to the extroverted and charismatic Sandy ,
Karen Black, who appeared in Major Motion Pictures such as Five Easy Pieces, and Horror Telefilms such as The Terror Trilogy and Burnt Offerings, is joined here by George Hamilton who plays Mr. Oliver, Mrs. Oliver's domineering husband .
This is another one of those telefilms I don't want to spoil ,for anyone interested in checking it out .
Unfortunately though, as has been the case with alot of these tv movies, the copy available online isn't great , and not all tv movies and miniseries were preserved or have been restored to today's standards.
But , if you can solider through the less than ideal quality , I'd recommend it .
I would certainly recommend checking Karen Black's other work from 1970s .
Airing on February 28th, 1977 , in the top songs was a hit by Steve Miller Band.
