The Dark Knight What Will TDK's Rating / Certificate Be?

Since the movie is rated now, is there any point to keep this topic open?

Meh, not really. Unless people wanna argue over why the movie shouldn't be rated pg-13, which is pretty pointless.

I'm fine with the PG-13 rating, I wasn't expecting excessive foul language, gratuitous violence or ****.

Hahaha although the latter is possibly surprising considering Maggie G is in the movie.

Me neither. This particular cast doesn't really excel in the chest department.

I'm surprised how scanty the rating descriptor is compared to the first film, but that's really nothing to complain about.

So TDK is rated, does it mean that the film is totally finished? or do they still cut some things? and what about the music, is it also done?

Well, it's got intense violence, so I think... we shouldn't worry about Dent's scarring ;)

Usually the MPAA gets the final cut, which doesn't mean that the special effects, sound etc. are done.

Probably final cut, raw footage.

ok, thank you :yay:

Haha, some menace. I haven't heard that term used since the boy named Dennis that was named after the act.

I wonder what the MPAA's defenition of "menace" is.

Probably don't even have one. Apparently, they basically rate movies on their own discretion.

Probably just threatening scenes. Like the Joker holding the knife to Rachel's head/neck and the scene where Batman grabs someone and says, "Where is he?!"

etc.
