What would you change about the movie?

more shots...a LOT more shots...of Eva Mendes in underwear.

A plot and actual Bad Guys.

I'm pretty sure that armed with a wet sock *I* could have defeated Blackheart and his henchmen.

Was the sock wet because of the water bad guy? that could be your downfall...otherwise you'd probably have them beat.

No, I dont think that would matter.

After all, Ghost Rider was wet and he didnt have a hard time in the least.

=)

I'd change it to Midnight Rider :cwink: Inside joke for Dusty Rhodes fans

Using the same basic story, here's what id' change.

1. Recast Blackheart and make him seem evil, not like a hot topic employee
2. Hard R rating for the film.
3. Make 'The Hidden' a bit of a challenge for Ghost Rider, i mean...at least a little.
4. Include Caretaker's Ghost Rider in the final confrontation with Blackheart and have him killed, shows how badass Blackheart really is, and gives Caretaker a more visceral redemption.
5. Change some of the lamer dialogue
6. You need lips to whistle, so take that part out.
7. Make the jailbreak scene a freakin bloodbath, there was a lot of evil there for him to avenge.
8. Give Peter Fonda a little more to do, 90% of his preformance rocked.
9. Lose the lame Goth Chick
10. Better CG for 'The Hidden'

i'd change the opening credit sequence
i would have it look like the contracts, with everyone's credit in that cursive writing and blood stains here and there
maybe with some fire effects to "burn" the names into the contract

I haven´t seen the movie yet, but some of the dialogue I´ve heard is just plain cringe-worthy. "Bonehead"? Seriously? Also "he has your soul but he can´t take your spirit!" What the hell does that mean, soul and spirit are synonyms, it´s just an easy vapid catchphrase. People always say "try to do it better", I think what the line means can be explained in clearer and even more poetic terms: "He has you in the same way farm owners used to have slaves: he can force you to work for him, change your name and your looks, even make you pretend you worship him, but deep down you´ll still be the same man. And that man still is a free spirit".

Ill change everything except the Ghost Rider, damn, this movie is so bad, that Nicolas Cage actually is some of the few good things in the movie and that is something hard for me to say.

For the vision set up to be brought to life in this film, I would not have changed anything. I think it would be unfair of me to empose my thoughts on what I want on somebody else's vision. After all, I started out wanting on a Dan Ketch story until realizing what they were trying to do with this film... and that's add a taste of all the Ghost Riders we know.

Having said that, I probably would have made it a little longer. The movies pace allows for an extra 10 minutes even.

I heard that Blackheart doesn't actually show him true form in the movie, is this true:csad:

Yeah, I know. All we got was a toothy grin and poorly animated eyes. He was also covered in a thin shroud of shadow. He looked nothing like the comic version. He was my biggest compliant about the movie.

The end battle from GR just defeating BH with a dirty look to this-->

After Blackheart goes down and GR walks away, this 8-foot tall mouthless-monster with long black spines rises up behind GR and wraps its tail around his skull, dragging GR down to Hell. Then there's ten minutes of the best fight-footage ever, Ghost Rider taking off his gloves to reveal flaming skeletal fists and duking it out with a giant demon Blackheart while countless minions are clawing away at him from behind. It ends with Ghost Rider getting held down and Blackheart tearing open his chest only to find Ghost Rider's glowing sigil there and accidentally releasing the demon Zarathos, who hands Blackheart his ass and tosses GR back up to the living world, powers intact and able to control his Rider form any time he wants.

But hey, if I was GR I'd want to beat the crap outta a Hot Topic clerk myself, so we just got that instead.

I would have made the film dark and gritty with an R-rating. A villain or villains that's worthy of a supernatural and demonic battle.

Replace Nicolas Cage with Kiefer Sutherland and Eva Mendes with Isla Fisher.

and make it an R-rated grindhouse flick.

Damn! I was about to type the same thing.

:word:

Oh yeah, I'd change the director.

MSJ sucks

OK that sounds cool, but Spawn already did it in 96'.

Thats an extra 100 million dollars right there. I really think what limited this movie was the price tag.
