Decided to crack open my Mel Brooks bluray set and marathon them in order over the next three or four days.

Started with The Twelve Chairs. I knew where it was going 7 minutes on but it was still hilarious. Great start, and it's only getting better now with the start of Blazing Saddles. Probably Mel's best film, even though Spaceballs will always be my favorite.

The other major H.P. Lovecraft movie adaptation (The Re-Animator being the big one) and it's attributed to Edgar Allen Poe!!!!!

It's a pretty fun flick, typical of Roger Corman and Vincent Price's collaborations from back in the day.

I'd definitely like to see this one be remade one day, the novella is legitimately one of the scariest pieces of fiction I've ever read. For anyone else who has read it, tell me I'm wrong that Liam Neeson should play Professor Willett.

I also like The Curse (1987), another low budget, Corman style flick based on Lovecrafts work.

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2: Neat animation. Lots of colorful things flying across the screen, but poor writing. The jokes were flat, minus 2-3 that made me giggle.
