RebootCop RoboCop (2014)

It came out on Netflix the first, saw it last night and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The movie missed a lot of the points of the original while stumbling around with its own trying to decide between distrust of drones, large corporations and cyborgs.

The movie felt like a decent imitation of RoboCop but only an imitation. There were a few subplots and obvious signs in this story of who was going to be a bad guy and how it was going to end so there weren't many surprises, except to show the extent that Murphy is no longer human (that was... creepy).

Still, it did not disappoint me like I was dreading so it gets points for that.

I did too.

Just don't make my mistake and get curious as to what people over at IMDB thought of it. One Dbag was telling people not to let their kids watch it because they'll be taught that some of the made up animals actually existed. Then you have someone saying the film was completely sexist. Funny when the father(voiced by Nic Cage ) is the typical bumbling fool like Al Bundy and other fathers on certain TV shows and movies but no one cares about that.

When Caesar yells "NO".....still get chills.

Can't wait for the next one in a few weeks.

Never noticed one major annoying negative until this viewing though, the added on love angle....kind of really pointless.
