The Nice Guys
I really enjoyed it. It's got Shane Black's name all over it. The highlight of the movie isnt the plot since it's just kinda there, it's the chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe. Also the girl that plays Gosling's daughter was great, she's got the acting chops to be a pretty big star in the future. The action was great, the look of the 70s was spot on, and I was kinda expecting more on the comedy side but it did enough. Overall, it's not the best Shane Black movie but it's up there.

Gods Of Egypt
It's like they took Prince of Persia, Clash of the Titans, and a little bit of Thor and put it into a blender and this is what came out. It's pretty awful on a "Saw every single cliche coming" level. Whoever wrote this had the mind of a teenager who went to a Egyptian museum all weekend. Surprisingly Gerard Butler (while extremely awful) isnt in it as much as these trailers made you believe. It's basically Nikolaj Coster Waldau and some random guy's movie. Chadwick Boseman was straight up hilariously awful in it. The only person I actually really like in this was Elodie Yung as Hathor, she did her best with what she was given. Oh and from what little time he was in it, Anubis was badass. But overall, it's definitely some ol bullsh** which pains me to say since it's from Proyas and the whitewashing was the least of their problems.

Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising
It's rare to see a comedy sequel to be as good if not better than the original and this is one of them. It manages to advance the story and jokes and not just simply recycle old material. The dynamic between Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, Zac Efron, and the sorority girls was great. The jokes were way more funnier than the first one and it's got a couple of funny running gags they do throughout the movie. And you also got a pretty interesting debate of the sexes where both sides have great points and have something to say that's not just dick or vagina jokes. Overall, it's a great movie where it made the first one a little bit better because of this.
