It's a biopic on Robin Cavendish, who's paralyzed from the neck down due to polio. It's pretty similar to The Theory of Everything, but I think I enjoyed the performances in this movie more than Theory. It's Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy's movie and you really do get a sense of affection between them. It's the first time Andy Serkis has directed and for a first timer, he was pretty good. Overall, it's a decent movie, but there's nothing in here that feels unique, you kinda see where it's going. 7/10
I, Tonya
Loved it. Margot Robbie and Alison Janney gave some of their best performances as Tonya and her mother. The movie plays off as a dark comedy that also becomes tough to watch at times. It almost feels like the Coen Brothers directed some of it. Directing wise it was great. You get a mini documentary between all the madness that went on in her life and it intercuts that beautifully. I also thought Sebastian Stan and Bobby Cannavale (who's not in it a lot) was great as well. Overall, it's a solid film filled with great moments throughout. 9/10
