Peter Rabbit

I was fully expecting this movie to be complete trash, but for whatever reason I thought it was kinda enjoyable. It has its charm (although it's leagues down from something like Paddington) and the British wild antics kept the movie going. It's almost like a weird crossover between Doctor Dolittle and the Looney Tunes cartoon. Only problems I have with it is once Domhnall Gleeson go at it with Peter Rabbit for the 3rd or 4th time, it got a little tiring. Oveall, It's not as sharply written as Paddington, but it's nowhere as bad as those Alvin and the Chipmunks movies.
6.5/10

Kodachrome

I thought it was great. It's a well directed character driven family drama that feels like it was made years ago. Ed Harris, Elizabeth Olsen, and Jason Sudeikis were basically flexing their acting chops in here. It's not a flashy kind of drama... Everything felt incredibly real and grounded with believable characters that do believable stuff with them. Overall, it's a nice little gem that is worth checking out on netflix.
9/10

Insidious
Insidious: Chapter 2
Insidious: Chapter 3
Insidious: The Last Key

Dreary wannabe character drama masquerading as a thriller. 3/10

Batman: Ninja - 7/10

Depends on how well you get into the ridiculous nature of the piece, but if you're on board, it's a fairly enjoyable time.

Deadpool (2016)
Deadpool 2 (2018)
Zhan lang II / Wolf Warrior II (2017)

The editing, the accents, the surprise twin plot, the dry humping... it's all just wonderful. :o

I'm not making fun of Val Kilmer or his illness, but that dubbing... who the hell thought that voice would be a suitable replacement?! :lmao:

When his part came up, I was in the theater just dazed and confused trying to figure out if his lines were dubbed or not.

Akira 88 I have not seen it since I rented it on VHS back in the early 90s I had no idea that they re recorded all the voice cast from the 80s dub for the 2001 version wow.
