Describe the movie with only one word: Whoooom!
Not as bad as I thought, but nothing more than expected: 5/10

The Breakfast Club

It took it a while to get to the good stuff, but in the end it was worth it.

Fright Night (1985)

7.5/10

The younger actors were kind of weak but it's still a fun light-hearted horror movie.

RED-7.5/10. really enjoyable, an action movie driven by the performances of fantastic actors. the action wasn't mind blowing but it's a fun watch.

It has been a trying few day, trying to watch movies.

Last night, after work, I decided I wanted to go to the midnight showing of Premium Rush. Well, it's 12:20 in the morning, I'm sitting in the theater with a few other folks, when this couple decided to show up, with their baby twins, gooing and shaking their rattles, and their toddler kids, running around the theaters, causing havok. I kind of like to go to the movies to get away from the brats, and here they are, because of a bunch of ignorant, selfish parents. I decided, hell with this, I got up and demanded a refund. Maybe I'll catch the movie during the week, but I sure as hell am not going to be sitting there with a bunch of rambunctious children, who should otherwise, be in bed.

I go home, and I watched online Joseph Gordon Levitt's controversial Mysterious Skin. While it's disturbing, there were things that were not realistic at all. I grew up with best friends whose parents had, uh, made quite the living in the oldest profession on earth, so some technicalities were a bit of a stretch. I guess I give the movie a 7/10. Solid performances, and the intent was genuine, but it was a bit over the top in many instances.

Well, I'm living here in South Florida. We're being pummeled by drenching rains all day, so I made it a movie day. My mother lives with me, and she's showing interest in Jeremy Renner after liking him in Mission Impossible, The Avengers, The Hurt Locker and The Town. I've been a fan of him for quite some time, so I thought she'd like to see him in some of his previous works. I stuck in Dahmer. Movie was too dark and minister for her, so I had to take it out. I tried 12 and Holding, right after the Rudy gets killed, she starts walking around, making coffee, worrying about the animals, the weather, and made it quite clear, she was just not interested in this movie either. Another miss, so I stuck in Neo Ned. Let me say, she is very close minded and old fashion, so she couldn't digest that movie either. I finally got fed up, and just stuck in LOTR TTT EE. It's a movie we both love, and it's length will be perfect for this dismal Sunday afternoon.

Have any of you been through this, tried to get family and friends to watch non mainstream movies, only for them to reject it? Do you find it frustratingly as I do?

Battle Royale.

It makes The Hunger Games look like Blue's Clues.

Cars 2

Meh. Felt more like Mater's movie than McQueen's.

How to Train Your Dragon
Great movie.

Easy A

Emma Stone is one likeable girl.

Anger Management (adam sandler)

It was weird, watching a you know...good adam sandler movie.
