Got it on Blu-Ray the other day and wanted to watch it again. Such a joy to see them all on the screen together again. Pure joy. Definitely the best superhero film for pure and uncompromising fun. I'll go to other comic book films for a bit more like I prefer but this is just so enjoyable.

Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (2011)

Meh. Good cast, great set design, not scary. The creatures are on camera way too much. They were the most effective in the first act, when we only heard them, saw them skittering almost out of sight, or when all you could see was their glowing rat eyes. But then they're just there and it's not scary. I only fairly recently saw the original after hearing the title for years and years. It's legitimately creepy. This new one is just kinda there.
