Borat

I still don't completely like the guy, but I've seen both Brüno and Borat and I admit I laughed a lot.

Men in Black 3

7/10

Troy (2004)

Could have been a much better movie. 5/10

The Avengers

Fifth time. Now matches The Dark Knight in terms of number of viewings.

Prometheus: It was alright.

Dark Shadows: I hate Burton, but I enjoyed this film? What is going on?

Dreamcatcher (2003)

I'm not a die hard Burton fan but why the dislike for him, if you don't mind me asking?

Never was a fan of his style, followed by the same cast members over and over can get tiredsome.

It's like a video game, there's some interesting camerawork in the earlier action sequences and the stunt guys are skilled, but it gets repetitive about 50 minutes in. 7/10

:wow: It was nice of someone to remove the rock you were living under, lol.

Heh! :D It's by choice, I hate 3D, I only went to see Prometheus in 3D because my cinema wasn't showing it in 2D.

Even still, I'm surprised you didn't check out Avatar in 3D. If there was ever a film that might actually warrant a 3D viewing, it'd be that one.

How was Prometheus' 3D?

Truthfully, his best films were probably the ones before he started using the same cast members over and over. Beetlejuice, Batman, Ed Wood, etc.

Slightly disappionted with this one. It started off very well, but it fell flat on its face during the third act. Had it continued with the initial premise set up in the beginning and worked in some sort of complementary ending, it would have been much better.

Tremendous film that was very much ahead of its time in terms of cinematography, story, and social commentary. I would also call it one of the most influential films ever given how many other movies were influenced by its visuals and thematic choices.
