The Amazing Spider-Man When and how should Gwen Stacy die? - Part 1

Dagenspear, I did say I was going go ignore you. But just out of curiosity, how old are you? Because some of your posts, such as the one where you referred to someone as a "big bully" for something not even remotely offensive in any way and your reply to me from a few pages back where you seemed really shocked that people on the internet can actually be called names such as "******" (as if you just saw someone doing that on the internet for the first time), makes me think that you're a 13 - 15 year old kid who just discovered that the world isn't as nice and friendly as teachers in elementary school said it was.

I'm being serious. Who the hell reacts to simple posts like these the way you do? Even my post from a few pages back (where I posted that picture) wasn't something that big to have a reaction like that. So either what I just said is true or you're really really sensitive. Either way, you need to chill.

I was thinking the same thing lol

If they're going to have the Green Goblin kill Gwen then it probably won't be till the third movie. I very much doubt that Sony will use the Green Goblin again so soon. They most likely want to avoid using the villains that were in Rami's movies for as long as possible.

Many have suggested that opinion, yet, there are just as many who tend to believe different. I don't see it happening til the third film myself.

I think the second movie is too soon. I say the third film, but only if there end up being more than three films.

Four films of the same series won't happen. And Green Goblin in the second film is too soon. The third is a perfect time to bring him back. About 15 years will have passed since the first GG on screen.

The sad thing is I'm not shocked at all that there are horrible people who think it's okay to be nasty to others. In my 20+ yrs of life I've witnessed the actions of many people like you: Bullies (which is a serious issue by the way, and not something to be mocked immaturely), people who enjoy tearing down others. It's wrong and not something I'm going to put up with.

You insulted someone by essentially calling them ******ed, so yeah, I'd say it warranted the reaction it got. And of course someone like you would view being sensitive as a bad thing, when it's not.

Look kid, you're in for a HARD life if you really think calling someone over the internet ******ed warrants THIS big a reaction. If you really think someone's bullying you the number one rule is IGNORE IT, because getting this kind of reaction is basically just putting gas on the fire. Being sensitive isn't a bad thing when it means say empathetic or when it's controlled, but you sir are in for a hard hard life if you can't take a simple internet insult. If you honestly feel you've been bullied and demeaned, then report the post and move on with your life.

The amount of insults and snide remarks being thrown around here have been going on for far too long. I had to pass out some infractions to the main instigators of said flaming as it has been getting out of hand here for a while now.

This goes out to everyone and not only those who got an infraction but the petty squabbling using baiting tactics to get someone else inflamed isn't acceptable either and if it continues, it will also warrant an infraction as it's further causing this thread (
and overall section) to further spiral into a complete insulting frenzy.

Either learn how to post your opinions without the insults and name calling or just restrain yourself from posting at all. If you can't do either of those then I'll just give you some time off to cool down.

Thank you for this. :)

I've just read that Gwen

Is only signed for two movies but Andrew is signed for three :gulp:
Killing Gwen in movie two is a bit too soon right?

Not really.

Thing you have to think about is...

If Gwen dies in movie 3, is that a happy ending for Peter?

I mean I was adamant that they were going to kill her in movie 2, unless MJ was introduced in movie 2... in that case Gwen would die in movie 3. Then movie 3 would have MJ and Peter getting closer towards the end, it wouldn't necessarily end with him and her becoming a couple because everyone knows that that's going to happen anyways... but it'll end with him having somebody... and won't be a depressing ending. I'd actually like them to have her die in the third movie, so Norman/GG gets a bit more of a build up.

If Gwen indeed pops her clogs in 2 that means you have to see gobin 'born', 'become' and kill all in one movie. That a lot of stuff to fit into a 2 hour movie.

There's that too.

But the same could be said if she's dying in movie 2.

Unless they introduce Norman and have him become GG in movie 2... then have him... urm, disappear(??) in the movie towards the end and have him come back to kill Gwen in movie 3.

I wanted to see Norman as a corperate bad guy that pulls strings of other villians and there wont be time to do that.

Urm, so what're you saying?

Have movie 2 as Gwen's death or movie 3?

Urm, so what're you saying?

Have movie 2 as Gwen's death or movie 3?

1) Have a major villian be introduced (Mysterio hopefully)
2) Establish Norman trying to cure himself
3) Establish that Norman is pretty much the Kingping of New York
4) Establish that Norman knows Peter is Spidey (surveillance in the 'spider room')
5) establish that Norman knows Gwen (who works at Oscorp so easy interaction) and Peter are an item.
6) by the end of the movie you transform Norman but he is still 'human' looking

So the major villian of 3 is introduced in 2. You kill Gwen early in 3 but the movie ends on a high as Peter starts (or hints at) a romance with MJ.
