Not everone can afford to go out and buy a new danged system very time a new version comes out.
To ME dvd with a HD tv is fine.

Meh. Who cares about Blue Ray anyway? Give me that steelbook cover for the DVD and I'm happy.
(and before anyone shouts out how great BR is: it isn't, it may be better than DVD but not that much better that it warrants a completely new system that isn't compatible with the old)
I, personally, prefer to have the absolute best format of movies I buy and it makes movies I already enjoy even that much more of a cinematic experience.
