Two mistakes in the same week...wow. Marvel must really not be picky with its editors. Observe:

AND

Slackers! :cmad:

EDIT: Fine. ONE mistake...Apparently "pace" fits. Fancy schmancy Latin....

there are misspellings all over comics - including Watchmen,i believe. admittedly, as a grammar/spelling nazi, I should be upset, but i chalk it up to me not editing said comics

isnt the one with silver surfer "pace" which is a word.. that i dunno..fits in that sentance?

It's Latin; a real word but not used much anymore. It's where the R.I.P. on gravestones originally came from and it basically means 'rest in peace'.

But misspellings are what proofreaders are for. Editors are for BIGGER mistakes :yay: .

Typo's are human error and spellcheckers can catch that. I want to know where editors are when two installments of the very same crossover mini can't keep key facts straight (looking at you, WWH: FRONTLINE), or when power levels go totally bizarre and outside the realm of drama or suspending belief into outright bull-feces (Silver Surfer being trapped in an armlock by Black Panther; Wolverine regenerating from a nuke to the face, etc).

Editors at Marvel basically let writers do whatever. Even, as it seems, make simple spelling errors. ;)
