Where did Peter go after church?

While I really enjoyed SM3, flaws and all, one area of continuity in the film just BUGS me more than any other...

What happened to Peter after he separated from the symbiote? Presumably, he's naked in a church and we have no idea how he transitions from this scene to the next. I believe the next scene is with Aunt May in his apartment.

I'm willing to bet they shot something and cut it - it'd have been cool to see him swipe some robes from the church or something and swing home, contemplative in what'd he'd done to MJ. I'd much prefer it to the Jazz club dancing Still love "dancing in the street" Peter though hehe

From what I can remember, in the novel it says that he takes his Jazz Club clothes with him.

He had to have stashed his clothes somewhere (after all, he needed to take them off to change into Spider-Man...unlike the comics the suit didn't create clothes for him) so I assume he put them back on and went home. Doesn't seem like a big continuity gaffe to me.

I a mgoing to presume this was one transistion done how it should've been. I wish the removing the symbiote took a litle longer though. But we see him in church battling his dark side and ridding himself of vengence and wrath. The next shot is him showering and cleaning himself of his cruelty and wickedness. There is some form of metaphor there.

But like in the comics and cartoon it is presumed he sneaked back home naked, though.

thats a good question. Maybe Spidey heard the screaming but was to weak to do anything about it because he didn't look too suprised when he saw "Venom" on the news cast, he knew that symbiote was still out there somewhere.

Eddie enters as Eddie/Venom.

JAMESON: Hey watch it! Your dripping... goo all over the place.

EDDIE: Got you another picture J.J. The identity of Spider-Man.

Jameson looks at the picture repulsed.

JAMESON: It's photoshopped- and your a sicko. Get out of here now... you're fired.

EDDIE: Go to the construction site down on nineth. You'll see Jameson and you have first hand proof!

Just a question about this remark. When MJ steps in the taxi cab, you see Brock in taxi cab driver clothes. Then suddenly you see Venom's hand (in Venom style, no drivers clothes). So did Brock manage to find out how to change the suite into different clothing? There were no tentacles at all at his face....


Btw, after Peter loses the symbiot in the church, he takes a shower. In the novel, when he takes a shower, Brock is walking through his appartment. Now that the shower scene is filmed, which was a completely useless scene in the movie from a point of storytelling view, do you think that the scenes of Brock scoping around in Peter's appartment were filmed (and cut)?

I don't know if this will mean much. But I remember watching the movie second time around, the part where it shows black spidey sitting on the side of the church steeple in the rain. I saw a pile of what looked like his jazz clothes next to him. So if they were his clothes, or if there is just a heap of rags sitting there for no reason. I'm guessing he climbed back up the steeple and got his clothes on again. Anyone who see's the movie again tell me if you see the same thing.

in spidey 2, in the very beginning, where does he get his clothes from? he runs into the alley, comes out as spidey, too quick to even get his clothes off IMO and swings away. "yo, he stole that guys pizza!" how did he have his clothes on when he came out of the closet? did he put them underneath the suit in the alley? cuz that was really fast and he would have had to be naked at one point. think about that.
