If they stick with the X-trilogy lore then Rogue met Wolverine for the first time in X1 so including her wouldn't really make sense. Not that I wouldn't want to see a mature Rogue with powers and personality more closely based on the comics elsewhere.

But I'd like to see her in a sequel or a totally separate film. I'm not sure that she has enough connections with Wolverine to justify anything more than a very brief cameo in the 1st Wolverine film.

I don't know if including her would be a good idea in the first standalone Wolverine film. If there were ever a sequel, I'd love to see her introduced.

I think it could be. She could be introduced to Wolverine as a female clone/copy of himself created by Weapon X (instead of Hydra) and her appearance becomes a sort of a catalyst for him to continue digging deep into his past with the help of X-23. He becomes a father figure throughout the film. It could work, especially if they put some twist in it where Yuriko is X-23's mother.

He will probably get thrown in there somewhere. From what we have gotten in the past 3 films...you know they are going to throw characters and events that don't belong in there. But I wouldn't gripe if I saw Juggs again.

I would like to see that but in a sequel rather than the first film. I want Wolverine to be a bit of a loner in the first film. I wouldn't mind a cameo by her to set things up.

Where is Juggernaut?

Sorry I didn't include him in the list as noone had asked (I gave a couple of days before putting the poll up) and I didn't personally see much specific overlap in their comic history. That doesn't mean it won't happen, especially if Fox like Vinnie Jones in the part.
