Which Superman villains would like to see in the first installment of Superman 3.0?

yea i dont see why brainaic and lex wouldnt be bad start. To me it would be a good way to start. We have lex being the more puppet master guy the one who is causing all the terrible things in metropolis but no one knows what lex is really up to besides maybe superman and lois lane. Then brainiac is alien threat and the one supes can get physical with. Then we could also tie him to krypton being from krypton or was a factor in its destruction and all that. As for the whole established supes thing we heard months ago we dont really know whats up with that. Did they mean this sups been in action for yrs already and we are coming in on the middle of the story. Or is it a more fresh superman that might have only been on the scene for a few weeks/months and still getting his footing and all that. I hope for the latter, we dont need to make the same mistake SR did.

try but you could also have metallo be in a sequel and be based off of brainiac tech, which then could also lead to lex throughout film series stealing various tech and in final film he could have battle armor.

I just can't see Metallo being the lone 'villain' type. Or Parasite either. You need someone to control them and I suppose that could be Lex.

But the bottom line is that Brainiac has been rumored so many times, that I just want them to kick off the franchise with him. at this point, I say why not and deal with the sequels later.

I'm not even worried about a sequel right now. I just want them to come out with guns-a-blazing with this film.
The last thing I want to hear from them is ''just wait till the sequel when we really up the action''. Up it now, not later.

It would be cool if they did an origin if Brainiac was the reason Lex Luthor hates Superman, cos Brainiac makes out that Supes is a threat to get on side with Lex and when Lex is caught conspiraing with Brainiac and is arrested he still believes Supes was a threat and that although Brainiac tricked him on other things he was right about Supes and vows revenge of Supes for putting him in jail.

i said it before i wouldnt mind zod showing up now, since it would be a different take on the character. But i would hold him to a later film.

I think it would be great to have Kal-El and Zod crash to Earth at the same time in different places. And Zod becomes enough trouble to force Superman to show himself to the world. I'd love that!

What I don't want is a stereotypical fatcat Luthor sitting up in his skyscraper, smoking a cigar, hiring goons to go after Supes. I want a hands on mad scientist Luthor bent on world domination.

Luthor is a given. He's as big a part of the Superman-universe as Lois.

But I dont want him to be the main villain. At least not at first. I think he should be operating in the shadows in the first film and only slowly should we learn about him and who he is. Maybe we shouldn't even hear him by name until the end of the first movie.
Like I said, he shouldn't be the main villain as such, but I'd like to see him pull all the strings that eventually would lead to Superman's demise in the second movie or so, revealing him to be the main-villain after all.

Luthor should definitely be in the first installment, but only serve as a chancellor/emperor Palpatine sort of role.

As for a main-villain, on one hand if it's an origin-movie I'd like to see, and that would probably make the most sense, that simply mankind would be the villain, the biggest threat to Superman and his place in this world. That would seem like the most realistic approach, especially with Nolan pulling strings. And Luthor could plot against Superman using the people.

But on the other hand, I also very much think that's it's looooong overdue that we see some real "super vs super" in a Superman-movie. I'm thinking otherworldly arse-kicking here, Matrix Revolutions-times100-style arse-kicking.
But introducing that kinda foe would maybe seem rushed and too much for a first installment origin-movie. But in a Superman-movie in general, my picks would be either Brainiac, Apocalypse or Darkseid with Doomsday only serving as a henchman of sorts. Maybe Luthor could somehow be combined with Metallo in future movies.

The main-villain for the Superman reboot is a tough one IMO.
