Well as long as the suit that forms over Topher is something larger than life. If its a form fitting suit, then its just gonna really throw the continuity of what the comics present.

Also I hope they stay away from presenting webbing on venoms suit, this just goes along with my above statement.

The comics continuity and the movie continuity are two very different beasts. Always have been.

Organic webshooters, GG armor, Gwen Stacy showing up in part 3...

I don't think that comic continuity really applies here.

As long as I can look at him at recognize that it's Venom, even with the changes, I think I'll be OK.

I'm with you. Venom should definately have an athletic build, but he shouldn't be as big as he's currently drawn.

Venom won't be that big & muscular in the movie unless they over exaggerate on the suit. The symbiote will form around Eddie's body & take its shape but it can't increase Eddie's muscular size. People can say that it won't be Venom unless they make him look huge & massive, but they probably won't make him any bigger than he needs to be.

Things that won't be covered in the movie, but are fun to ask...

Does the symbiote go to the bathroom? What happens when the host has to go to the bathroom in the symbiote suit or would the suit absorb the bodies waste if an accident did happen while the host was wearing the symbiote? What effect would the symbiote have on Peter & Eddie's reproductive organs organs? Could it make them sterile temporarily or permanently & if not that then could it have a temporary or permanent effect on their dna in the event that they had conceived a child with a woman while under the effects of the symbiote that they would pass along to a child?

God, I hated how weird and anticlimactic that issue that the above panel was taken from. (375 or something, right?)

Especially with how overly dramatic that pose was, followed up with, essentially, "leave us alone, we'll leave you alone."

So weird.

And those forearms are insane. I haven't seen veins like that since Iggy Pop.

Something more along the lines of this. He's a good size (a little bigger than Spidey, but not some two-ton mound of neck-less muscle...perfect), and it's slightly more human in a way. I think that's an important quality for Venom to have in the movie, if they want him to come off as anything more than a big slobbering monster.
