Well, seeing as how in the comics, Venom took his look from Spider-Man... I would assume he will do the same in this movie. Of course there will be slight varriations, (i.e. twisted webs, mouth, eyes) but I would expect he's not going to be solid black with a huge white spider. But, ulimately, we'll all just have to wait and see.

I'd like to see old school Venom, just a huge scary grin. The tongue and snarling crap makes him more of a monster, whereas the original Venom just looked like a grinning psycho.

I'd like to see Venom look physically imposing so I think he should tower over Spider-Man and be ripped. Also the over-the-top tongue and teeth adds to the sinister/inhuman aspect of him. I doubt any of these traits will be present in the film version however.

He'll probably just be Topher in the black Spidey suit with those wax lips taped to the mask.

theyll have to make venom look like a huge spidey with a massive mouth, cos if the black costume is similar to spideys normal costume, then venom has to be similar to that. so having the original look with the big white spider wouldnt make sense

The variation b/c none of spideys enemies have looked scary IMO and since they're going for a darker approach having a hideous frightening Venom would be something new!

They are talking about portraying Venom as a twisted version of Spidey, himself right? The symbiote absorbed a lot of what Spider-man is; in terms of powers and appearance - that combined with both its hate and Brock's hate toward Spidey, creates Venom - An amplified, crazy-looking Spider-man.

I really enjoy what the rumors make him sound like. The white veins in place of the webbing... But in terms of physical shape, I think Venom would look good being disproportionate, With elongated arms and a broader chest and shoulders. It's different, but would look cool in the movie.

i dont mind him being 'small'. even this way i think if they make topher look cut waering the suit it would work. loks more realistic that the big muscular venom
