Which Venom would you prefer? [Pics]

Well as long as the suit that forms over Topher is something larger than life. If its a form fitting suit, then its just gonna really throw the continuity of what the comics present.

Also I hope they stay away from presenting webbing on venoms suit, this just goes along with my above statement.

To avoid a Cyclops/X3 fanboy type backlash, fans need to realize that the movie Venom will in NO way resemble the comic version. Best bet is that Raimi is going with Venom being a "Dark Spider-Man." Topher will don the Spider costume (black) and besmirch Spidey's good name. No tongue, no teeth, no bulk and no different design...just Spider-Man in a black version of his costume. Except this now and be happy in 2007.

Um, have you read spideyboy's descriptions from his insider? Venom will have the teeth and tongue. And Raimi/Arad both claimed Venom will have the white spider.

No I haven't. Thanks for the heads up but I still don't believe the part about the teeth and tongue. It would be great though and I hope spideyboy is right. I like to approach things from lowered expectations and then be pleasantly surprised.

Is it just me, or does Venom seem to grow a few feet and gain about 50 pounds every year?

He's getting ridiculously big. He looks like the Hulk with the head of one of the Brood (or Aliens).

Ten years from now, Venom is going to look like Galactus with an underbite and a tongue like Toad from the X-Men movie.

I prefer the original Venom. I think that the Venom character they are developing for the film will be most similar to the Venom in Todd MacFarlene's "Venom Returns". I think that Topher Grace will dressed in a black costume as Venom and the sharp teeth and tongue will be taken of by CGI special effects. Avi Arad mentioned that Spider-Man 3's Venom will be true to the comics which seems very promising.

Variation... Origional looks to much like Spidey. Allthough They aren't going to have the white spider image on his chest, since parker just has the all black suit Eddie will probably get the same.... I think we'll be seeing a very different venom, hopefully it isnt as bad as Harry's new suit. lol

I hope that Venom looks like the original Venom with a longer tongue. I would bet the spider symbol will be the same as Spidey's but whiter and there will be no raised webbing. Fangs and a tongue are fine, we don't need Hulk Venom whose tongue is five feet long though.

I voted for the original, which I think is the most workable version for the movie (and for Topher if he ends up being Venom).

I agree, The original Venom was still pretty badass. More creepy and evil than a big beast, but still bigger than Spidey. It will be good....OH YES, It will be good.
