Humanity VS Superman. I could see that...something along the lines of JLU season 2, it would also be the perfect way to introduce Cadmus and bring about Bizzaro or Doomsday.

How'd I know so much people would say Brainiac. Its the only villain that makes sense seeing as how people will become familiar with him over the course of this saeson of Smallville and probably the next.

I listed them to show that there have been numerous interpretations of Metallo's origin in the past, and that scripting a new origin isn't exactly unfamiliar territory.

I listed them to show I was aware of those origins and theyre totally irrelavant to the point.

I never refered to them, I only referred to Singer being forced to develop 2 different visions for the character (assuming the Metallo represented in the SR video game is from his vision of the character).

You never stated that or anything like that.

How exactly is it irrelevant? It proves that there's more than one way to imagine a character.

What law says that he can't he have two different visions of Metallo?

Anybody but Zod. Been there, done that.

If Singer picked Zod, honest to God, I would thinking "There's more rogues out there to chose from!"

I think Zod should have only cameo or 5 minutes at the beginning of SR2.

It would be enough.

And I also see Brainiac as the main villian in sequel, but without main part. Brainiac will also have some connection with Lex Luthor. It would be great.
Metallo will be the main villain for Superman in action sequences. Metallo will be some kind of Luthor's weapon, which will be made by special technology of Brainiac.
And also, Brainiac will have a big dialogue with Superman. But there will be final battle between Superman and Brainiac, and Superman will totaly destroy Brainiac.
Brainiac will be also psyhological competitor for Kal-El. And I want Lex to have his own technology company in sequel.

In SR3 I would like to have Darkseid. Lex will have influence on politics and even president. Darkseid will have another look. And at the end Superman will win
the battle between him, Darkseid and Darkseid's army. But Superman will be near death after this fight. Also, when Superman fights with Darkseid, he will show
his dark side and will kill Darkseid.

If their using Darkseid. I wana see him use a young kryptonian child, Kara Zorel, as a pawn and hostage, for Superman to save.

I'd prefer if Zod made a surprise cameo in this film (flashback sequence to Superman's last adventure before departing Earth)

The problem is if Brainiac is a robot Metallo will seem redundant. Also the true Darksied (not Jobbersied) should be far too powerful for just Superman, he should be a JLA villain or something.

What about that whole Suicide Squad thing that was in the comics a couple of years ago. I could see Singer doing something similar to that in the next film. What ever opposition Superman goes up against, it'll be one that tests him physically, mentally, and emotionally. That's something you can always guarantee when dealing with a Bryan Singer film. Thank goodness! :)

No.

I like the idea of humanity v. Superman. Bring Cadmus in. The idea that everyone liked and trusted Superman should be explored and debunked in the new movies. CCH Pounder or Angela Bassett for big screen Amanda Waller.

Other than that I would like to see Metallo and Parasite get big screen treatment. I really liked how they were done in STAS.

To get really radical, how about a retooled Ultra Humanite. An ultraintelligent mind in the body of a hot actress might be cool to see. Don't want to go the ape route. Especially if the Ultra Humanite teams up with Luthor.

Of course I would also like to see Brainiac, Doomsday, Zod, and Darkseid. They are the obvious choices. As much as I love Zod, I don't want to see him if they can't get someone comparable to Terrence Stamp or better. It might be better to go with Jax'Or and Mala from STAS. I also wonder if a movie Brainiac will be able to top James Marsters on Smallville.

A brief Titano cameo might also be cool to see. But I wouldn't want him being the main villian. Perhaps starting off a movie with Supes taking out Titano.

Why does everyone like Doomsday, he's not a character, he's a plot device.

And if they ever use him, he should be a plot device by Lex and Cadmus again.. though I doubt its even necessary to use him.

In response to Overlord,

I like Doomsday because he is walking destruction. When he was introduced he couldn't be bargained with, talked to. He had no known weaknesses, no attachments. He pushed Superman to the limits like none of his other villians had. And in the end he killed Superman. Something no other villian had done at the time...to my knowledge. (I might be wrong on that point. If so I apologize in advance).

I think the Kryptonian origin should be kept. Even though the Cadmus tie would be cool too. It would also make sense that Cadmus and Luthor are developing contingency plans for Supes. But if they go that route please make him better than Nuclear Man.

I always thought Superman being killed by some unthinking plot device was lame, why couldn't an established villain do it, Mongul would havbe been better, he at least had a history with Supes. Frankly I would be happy if we never see that walking plot device on the silver screen, give some screen time with characters that have depth.

Braniac could have an opening for very intellectual ideas and dialogue. Might make this one for the critics.

I love Doomsday, so we'll just have to agree to disagree. I think he is a more striking figure, and is a better visual than Mongul. I like the fact that he is fueled by rage, is pretty much unthinking, a killing machine. It's something Superman isn't used to facing.

The Superman/Doomsday fight itself could be a character defining moment for Doomsday, with no cool or witty or forced dialogue. We would figure out what he's all about in how he fights. It could be a ballet of destruction.

If done correctly, hopefully with better, more realistic CGI than in the Hulk movie, Doomsday would be a pretty awesome sight to see on the big screen in my eyes.

Mongul is okay, but he'll be another "I want to conquer the galaxy" type. I would rather see Darkseid than Mongul in a Superman movie. Maybe Mongul could be teaming up with someone, but not the main show.

I was just using Mongul as example, Darkseid would havew made for a more interesting killer of Superman than Doomsday in the comics. I don't see how an unthinking plot device can sustain a whole movie.
