Who can match or beat Superman?

All of the biased DBZ people will flock here and talk about how Goku is unstoppable, a god with the dragon balls fused, has very fast "battle speed", etc.

But that's nothing compared to the Hulk people for stupid bias.

Nah, I believe that supes could beat most of marvel's characters but there are some that would either beat him or provide a challenge to Clark.

Yeah I agree with Warhammer about the Eternity and LT stuff. But Hulk fans are no where near as bad as Batman and superman fans. I mean I am a Hulk fan, but I know what his limits are too. I know there are quite a few characters in Marvel and Dc that can beat him. But I don't think that superman is one of them. Besides if mad enough his invulnerability levels are as high as classic Juggy, but that is of course if he is mad enough. But people like Ghost Rider, Silver Surfer and Black Bolt are hard characters to match up against. Oh and that's another character that can beat supes Black Bolt. All he has to do is scream and the fights over.....well then again so would every life in the vicinity too but the fight would be over.

Black Bolt could not even give Superman a fight. Even his voice doesn't generate force any greater than Superman has faced many times. His super hearing can be tuned to filter out any sound so its sensitivity could not be used against him and even if caught by surprise all it would do is cause him brief pain. The Hulk would have less chance against Superman than anyone else suggested. The Hulk has been one punched by people who don't have 1/10,000th of Supermans strength.

What's Juggy's level? He and Hulk went toe-to-toe swapping punches and really nothing was happening to either person. I'd say Juggy is on high level of strength maybe not supes level but he is on the level in which you speak of. And we are talking about (Black Bolt) a guy who can shatter mountains with a whisper. How can you sit there and say that he can't hurt supes with a scream?

The upper limit of Juggy has never been found. There has never been a feat of strength that he has attempted that he has not succeeded at. More importantly he absolutely cannot be injured without powerful magic and even then he regenerates better than the Hulk. Marvel.com says that Black Bolts voice is on a par with a nuke which Superman has encountered before with no harm. There was speculation at one time that Black Bolt could destroy the world with his voice but apparently Marvel has decided that is not true.

Hey...now that you've mentioned it.Juggy could also take on Supes.What about the Blob?He can't be moved unless he wants right?And any punch he takes is like you punching a jelly.

The Blobs strength is only at the 5 ton level and he has been moved by simply exerting enough force against him that it rips up the ground he is standing on. The Hulk has moved the Blob before and so has the Beast using the power of Unus. The Blob would be no problem at all. Juggy could not be hurt by Superman but he has the same problem as the Hulk he is too slow to be a threat. There are so many ways to defeat him that it would likely give Superman a headache deciding which one to use.

I know exactly what you mean.
Bats is my favorite superhero, but I see so many people overrate him (coughJplayacough) and say that he could just build a laser gun that could dematerialize someone.

We are not talking about current Juggy are we, because if that is the case, Superman rapes current Juggy, big time.

Although whoever in this thread said Superman doesn't fight like a genious with his powers can use the Supes/Doomsday fight as a great example. I kept waiting for Superman to say, "Hmm. This guy is as tough or tougher than me. I'm going to have to play this smart. Here's the plan..."

He never did say that. He just kept going toe to toe with the guy. Um, thing. I'd say if Superman had taken a couple of minutes to stop and think, or contacted Guardian or someone to search for a weakness, he could do better "next time".

But the thing about supes vs. juggy/ Hulk is that to beat them you have to hurt them and there isn't anything supes can do to juggy so therefore I say he would beat supes. Clark would just eventually run out of gas from trying too hard to beat Juggy. Besdies Juugy can go days-to-weeks without resting or eating within battle. That's gonna be pretty tough to beat. Supes can do damage to Hulk, although minimal but he can do damage. I really feel like supes would make a mistake an Hulk would capitalize eventually.

There are probably quite a few that could beat Superman but not Juggernaut and Hulk...since the terms of the "fight" weren't to sit there and go toe to toe, all Supes would have to do is fly behind them, lift them into space and let them flail about in zero gravity for the rest of their miserable lives...however short that would be for the hulk since at least he needs air after a while.

From a purely strength perspective...they say Juggy and Hulks upper limits are unknown, but have they been shown to move entire continents or planets like pre-crisis Superman? The power levels between DC and Marvel are so vastly tilted in the favor of DC, at least as far as physical strength is concerned, as to be wholly impossible for a Marvel character to win.
