Heh.

:cwink:

And WE WILL NOT DISCUSS MY ISSUES JUST YET.

She-Hulk... no real need to explain that one with Cho doing the drawing.

He's already writing her, and I stand by my statement.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

*sob*

You didn't know? There, there. Here's a tissue.

Why would they take titles AWAY from the best writer they have *Wipes eyes* It's just not right.

He can only handle two titles at a time, and he's going to have his hands full with Avengers: Initiative and Amazing Spider-Man.

Pauses to consider. "I guess, if he's going to be doing Spider-Man I can live with it."

No one if Cho is drawing. Ever. For the rest of his life. Or my life, if he somehow outlives me.

I still don't understand the Cho-hate. I always figured his style was one of those ones that everyone could like.

Dude, get laid. :o

Because we see so much of it as a selling point. It's basically Marvel's ploy to sell a book it seems.

"See Mighty Avenger's women drawn by Cho!"

Hmm...I didn't know putting a top artist on a book to sell copies was a bad thing.

It's not that the art is bad, it's the whole reasoning behind it.

It absolutely reinforces the old school stereotype of the nerd.

Pretty much.

Yet, he is a good artist. But he also acts like a horny 12 year old which gets annoying.

But wouldn't just about any big-name writer or artist warrent the same thing? I mean, hell, Slott is practically the second-coming to most, but I don't see people hating on him when he's announced to write Amazing Spider-Man.

Like I said.

"Read Mighty Avengers with Cho drawing the most lucious women of the Marvel Universe!"

I'm pretty sure one of the advertisements has almost directly said that.

It's not so much that he's a big name, it's just what he does.

slott has been announced to write amazing spider-man?

I think her point is that Cho's stuff is basically seen for boobs. They pick it up to see the women he draws.

Slott's stuff is picked up because Dan Slott is a continuity GOD.

Pretty much. He's just seen as a softcore porn artist by the comic industry.

I mean, look at his non Marvel stuff. I actually think he had a book devoted to him drawing women.

That's my problem with him. He pretty much broke the whole flow of the frantic scene in the last New Avengers where SHIELD is panicking and the Black Widow takes control by devoting almost a whole page to a gratuitous, blatantly obvious Black Widow ass shot. It was so ludicrous, the Black Widow standing there barking orders over her shoulder while visibly thrusting her ass out climbing some stairs that I just couldn't really get engrossed in the comic. If something jars you out of a scene that much, the artist is doing something wrong, period.
