The Dark Knight Who DOESNT want Two-Face in TDK?

Its possible that he is scarred in the movie and won't become two face until the end. Like in the movie he gets divorced when his wife sees him and Bruce is trying to help him. then in the end show him shoot a goon or something.

Obviously he shouldn't be scarred until the end, but I do think it's important that he is scarred in this movie. Waiting until the third movie to have the transformation would've been a mistake.

There will be people in the audience, members of the general public, who don't know who Harvey Dent is. For these people, I think it'd be great to have Dent scarred in this film, so they're surprised.

If they wait until the third film, it'll be revealed in the teaser, and that's kind of a lame way to reveal the transformation. The courtroom scarring scene needs to be seen for the for the first time in theaters, and for those people in the audience who dont already know, their first time realized who Harvey Dent becomes needs to be in the theaters as well.

I mean, this isn't Vader, where EVERYONE knew. Let people like my parents or something be surprised.

i want two face in tdk but not yet i want bruce to have a relationship with harvey first kinda like in btas but thats just me

Doesnt bother me as long as it happens at the end which it probably will

I'd prefer that they just set Harvey up for the role of superbaddie in the next sequel, but as long as Two-Face doesn't steal too much of the Joker's thunder, I'm cool with it.

My ideal situation was to have Dent scarred sometime within the last 15 or 10 minutes of the film, and right now, I'm assumign that's the situation.

Dent is going to get scared in the last 30 minutes of TDK. He will then team up with Joker and Sandman and fight against Batman. Batman can't handle it alone so he calls his old buddy lets just call him Franco I don't want to give anything away. So Franco takes care of Joker and sandman and Twoface will get killed by a bomb when he is separated from his coin.

So i'd say that people want him at the end? :p

Yes! :woot: If he is to be in this film, save him for the very end. And don't give us that good of a look. Show the audience that something is definitely wrong with him physically but keep him in the shadows for the most part.

Will there be dancing in this film, too?

of course there will be dancing. there must be dancing

Why would you not want to see Two-Face in THE DARK KNIGHT? Strange.

They might be afraid it might be crowded like Spiderman 3

Venom was in Spiderman 3 and it got really crowded. Thats just my opinion though

I wanty to see Two-Face in TDK . . . as long as he dances :D

Yeah, but there was already Goblin and Sandman. The Joker will be the mainstream villain for almost the entire movie. A small Two-Face cameo at the end is not going to harm the film. Actually, Two-Face won't even appear in any action scenes like Venom did. So this film is going to be purely focused on the relationship between Batman and the Joker.

Oh ya I agree but I have no idea why they would not want to see Two-Face. This is just speculation, I honestly expect to see Two-Face or at least the scarring.

We always were agreeing, your guess is as good as mine when it comes to not wanting to see Two-Face.

It's not really crowded; in BB you had Bruce's backstory, Ras, Scarecrow, and also Gordon, Dawes. In TDK we have Dent, Joker, and the Batman copycat. It will be fine -- SM3 suffered because of the abundance of characters, but I think that Nolan has a better idea of where he is going.

Yeah, BATMAN BEGINS had two villains, as well. And both of them were the mainstream villains. Having one small cameo towards the end of the movie is not going to harm the film what-so-ever. But I think CaptainClown was just speculating upon why some people wouldn't want to see Two-Face.

I think you could have a lot of characters as long as you balance it out. SM3 was a mess crammed together. BB had a lot of villains but focused on two, TDK should be fine because they aren't forcing the villains to appease the fans.

I know, dude. It's hard to think straight still getting the stink of SM3 off me (just trying to love it for what it is), so that's just the natural way my mind went wandering about the film being crowded. I'm just kinda answering my own fears. ;)

I'd rather wait till movie 3 to see Two-Face, I think like the "STAR WARS" and "SPIDER-MAN" films there has to be a progression, a setup and than a climax.

I'd like to see Harvey start losing his mind, his identity, and sanity in a tumultuous dwindling downfall. I want to see him get caught up with work, home life, pleasing the mayor and the GPD, and also trying to become a better crimefighter if you will than Batman himself. This is where like TLH he'd take the law into his hands.

He'd also be having to try to keep his split-personality disorder under guard so the voters of Gotham don't elect someone else. But everything would then come full circle once movie 3 starts and Maroni splashes acid in Dent's face.

If he only becomes Two-Face at the end, then it shouldn't be a problem. It could be a good cliffhanger for the third movie.
