Homecoming Who should be the Villain in Spider-Man (2017)? - Part 2

Prowler is really an all around terrible choice. I like the character and all.. but...

1) he's a hero, and an ally far more so than an adversary
2) he's also been practically non-existent over the last 15 years in the books.. and only occasionally popped up prior... recently he's just a hired actor basically to play spidey when peter needs to have Spidey and Peter in the same room for Parker Industries public events
3) he's a C list character (at best) and a complete unknown to anyone besides heavy followers., he also hasn't even been given an action figure yet (outside of spider-man the animated series) yet we now have 2 Jack-o-Lantern figures in 6in scale... and even 3 beetles... if that further shows us how off the radar he is.

Mr negative would be rough to pull off visually anyway considering he looks like a film negative... and light does not hit him naturally like it hits us

Prowler should in no way be a main villain, but he should definitely show up at some point, espically if they plan on introducing Miles.

Mr. Negative would require a lot of effects, but he makes for an incredibly striking villain if they get him right, the kind of guy people will remember and instantly recognize,

And I love that spideyboy mentioned Jack O Lantern. I'd love to see him on the big screen, too, but he's probably too dark for Spidey. But in an Agent Venom spinoff, he's a must. Their nemesis after all.

There's saving Osborn for a Dark Reign thing in the MCU, that is my theory.

though one plus side if/when mr. negative is ever used it does give them a good diversity character to play with since he is asian and spidey doesnt have that many ethnic characters in the villain circles. It would be a good idea with norman to have him branch out and be a major threat to mcu as a whole like loki was with thor and the avengers. That is why i would love to see them have norman in the solos be the behind the scenes player, he is a supporting player we see the seeds of his corruption and his insansity going. So we then can do dark reign then goblin or goblin then dark regin stuff with him.

we'd be lucky to get 9 films.... priorities people, lets get the iconic villains out there as a priority

Again you can't just look at spiderman corner now just 3 films and done. We have all of mcu now be it team films, other solo film, and the tv stiff various elements from spidey and his badguys that they can appear in now.

oh im aware, but they should be facing spidey and to do so.. that requires films... and spidey is likely only getting 6-9 films tops

Since tom is a lesser know guy and since he has a more unique contract then rest who knows maybe he could show up in aos or netflix shows. Just like we get refrence to spidey corner stuff in other projects. And heck I wouldn't be to adverse for example if the netflix shows ended up using jean dewolffe and stan carter for example and do a plot with them. Or some lower caliber villain pop up there and then make an appearance in films.

i think it's more likely his lesser villains will end up in netflix shows to be honest.

I think he was the one that gave Brock the Anti Venom symbiote.

you really couldnt do venom in first film. It just wouldnt work in my opinion. You have no build up and all.

Do it exactly like the ultimate spider-man game. Have the prologue be the story of how the symbiote got in Eddie's hands and then start the movie at the football field. But we'd get no black suit spidey in that scenario and black suit spidey is badass

Oh ya I do not want ultimate cancer cue symbiote or teen friend brock. Same goes for when we get green goblin again I don't want a hulk/abomination rip off monster.

As I brought up before it would be all counting on if the earth heroes go to space to face thanos. If Thanos comes to earth I see iron spider suit being used then. To give peter a little more firepower.
