Homecoming Who should be the Villain in Spider-Man (2017)? - Part 4

They have to have villain and possibly actor locked in. As filming starts in june. Actor needs time for costume fittings and training and working out. Pkus script is likely neat final draft. So yed they likely have character decided on.

Probably, I mean. CW is right around the corner. So maybe I should calm down.

Ya ernsth tou have to remember productions just don't wait to last min to decide on villain or actor. As budget, costuming, locking in final script has to all be in place and ready. Now sure there is times in some films a lead may drop out last min. But as we really haven't heard anything on casting or in general there is any issues with production. I doubt anything is a miss.

So in the films here's how I expect each villain to be used and how many fight scenes with the respective villain may take place.

2017-Mysterio
Midtown students are on a trip to a theater and Mary Jane is lucky enough to get called back stage by the actor/effects major Quentin Beck. To give her a role in the next scene, she must pull the lever to trigger the the fire works. But something goes wrong and a fire is started. Mary Jane runs away scared and Beck take the blame getting fired. As mysterio attacks the theater in which he was embarrassed for revenge, but Peter stops him. Not with out difficulty. In the second encounter Mysterio shows up outside Midtown when the students are dismissed. This time to attack Mary Jane as the source of his problems and Peter sneaks off once more fighting Mysterio, but this isn't the real Mysterio it's a robot, set to explode. Peter gets it out of the way where it cant cause harm and going back. The third and finale encounter Peter gets help from a worker at the Theater attacked on where Quentin might be hiding. Peter goes but its a trap and he is caught off gaurd, Mysterio has hallucinations that drive him crazy , but he provials with the helpof Uncle Ben's memory and in a final epic battle beats Mysterio. That's 3 Mysterio Fights.

Spidey 2-Kraven/Chameleon
Kraven is hired by an annoymous source to take out Spidey. He travels to New York where he encounters the Spider-Man and has him on the ropes, hitting him with a sense disrupting powder that makes his Spider-Sense useless. But NY saves Peter, pelting Kraven with trash. Kraven runs off and Peter gets up and leaves. Plan B is activated as a Spider-Man doppleganger(Chameleon) goes around making a bad name for Spidey. Spidey stops the doppleganger but the damage is done. The town hates Spidey now, Kraven takes this and attacks Spidey again at night. He hits him with the powder and then continues to tell Peter he is unwanted now. But Peter remembers at the moment he's near beaten that he doesn't do it to be liked, he does it cause its his job, and he knocks out Kraven with one punch. That's 2 Kraven Fights and a Chameleon Fight.

Spidey 3- Vulture/Shocker
Adrian Toomes industry is selling out to Oscorp. Adrian as a last resort hires a theif to destroy Norman. Shocker attacks Oscorp and Peter see's it on the news, just as Osborn is hiding with Harry in a bunker, Shocker blast it open and prepares to get his job done. But Spidey is there and stops him with a hard battle webbing Shocker gauntlets together making them destroy each other. Shocker is taken to jail.

Spidey stops by later to ask Norman why Shocker attacked. Norman suspects it was an attempt by Adrian Toomes because Oscorp is more successful. Spidey stops by Toomes business and encounters him. While Peter talks to Toomes, Adrian puts on an exoskeleton that gives him enhanced strength and durability at his old age as well as razor sharp Talons and Wings.

Vultures suit seems to have no weak point and he carris Peter outside where Peter is dropped and almost hits the ground but webs to a wall at the last moment. Vulture is gone and Peter waits for him to show up again atop Oscorp. Vulture attacks and Peter is ready he gets into a second battle with Vulture and is again overwhelmed but realizes while he doesn't have the air advantage. Vulture's suit is seemingly electronic and he grabs a loose power cord from a broken wall and jams it into Vulture. Vulture is knocked out and his suit shut down. Adrian is now in jail and Osborn is now curious as he asks Harry what Peter was up to today.

Spidey 4-Otto Octavius/Green Goblin

Peter is at Oscorp with Harry as he goes to see something new his father is working on. Military tech based on Vultures tech. But one of the workers uses the bombs and sets it off then grabs the weapons attempting to escape with it, but Peter sneaks off to stop him after making sure Harry is safe. The criminal is inexperieced and Peter basically has his work cut out but not before getting hurt for being too cocky andd his blood is spilt.

Norman uses a drop of Spider-Mans blood to create a serum to replicate his powers. But his head scientist Octavius says it's unstable and not complete. The test subjects showed signs of dementia and brain deterioration and no enhanced ability. Norman angered tells Ock to hurry as they could make a fortune, Ock must superheat the serum to complete it and uses his new expiremental arms to do so safely. Osborn sees this and smiles with an idea, overloading the superheater and destroying the serum canister as it drops on Ock. The arms power source is the only thing keeping Ock alive. Ock has limited memory and Norman tells him Spider-Man did it to which Ock throws a fit and destroys the care unit he's in then goes on a rampage. Peter encounters Ock as he attacks the Bugle for Spidey. Spidey beats Ock after a seemingly unwinnable battle because Ock's arms are robotic and thus don't tire. But he takes out the power source putting Ock into a comatose like state. Ock is taken into custody where he is put on life support that doesn't require his robo arms to be powered. Meanwhile Norman has finished the serum and injuects himself with his own version.

He gains enhanced abilities like strength, agility and sense but almost immediately goes insane. He realizes something so obvious he laughs. Peter gets picks of Spidey, Peter leaves when Spidey comes, Peter is Spidey. He takes the tech and becomes the Goblin in a final battle he attacks Peter trying to get him to give up more of his DNA to make an amy of Goblin Soldiers. Beating the tar out of Peter, but Peter refuses. Goblin is about to kill Peter with a bomb, but thinking fast Peter webs the bomb too Goblins hand and gets out of the way. The bomb explodes, but when the polie check the area Goblin is gone. Norman is back at Oscorp and is looking at files on his computer, if he can't have an army of Goblins, he'll make an army of his own. Three fights one Goblin and one Ock and one Crazed Oscorp Employee(The employee is Roderick Kingsly)

Spider Man vs Sinister Six(ft Venom)
Peter is popular once more, the town loves him and he's getting really good at heroing. He has a girlfriend and everything in life is going his way. But then it all goes to hell. Norman uses a serum developed by him and Otto a long time ago to create a soldier with the power of a tank. Flint Marko and Alex O'Hirn are two test subjects. Hirn being slightly more...easy to manipulate is the subject for the serum. Marko feels left out but Norman has a job for him. Meanwhile O'Hirn undergoes his transformation and becomes the Rhino.

Meanwhile Peter is chilling at home working on his webshooters and see's a metero go by his window. He follows and goes through into a park down the block where he see's the meteor empty. He looks around and shrugs taking a picture for the Bugle just incase, not seeing the alien symbiote attaching itself to his shoe.

Marko is arrested and sent into prison where he meets up with the prisoners Otto, Adrian, Quentin, Kraven and talks to them about Normans offer. They all except to destroy Spider-Man. At that moment Marko takes out a small signal device from his mouth and it activates. At that moment Alex busts through the prison walls as the Rhino and Marko is shocked. As is everyone but he is friendly and wants them to cause chaos. And the prisoners do. The 7 escape with Flint helping Otto carry his life support machine in the chaos, to Oscorp secret level.

Norman is waiting with all their various weaponry and tools. He welcomes them to the 6. In the morning Peter wakes up and puts on his suit. It's a weekend so he goes on patrol but as he swings the symbiote covers his suit turning it black. Peter is shocked but feels...better in the black suit. He realizes it must be from the meteor. He stops a criminal robbing a bank. Flint Marko and beats him down till he's bloody embarrassing him and leaving him hanging froma lampost wedgie style. Much to the shock of some people and humor of others.

Peter swings away but then he's knocked down by Shockers blasts, Rhino runs up to him and Peter, never having seen him panics and dodges as Rhino flips the car like a desk. Peter looks around as Doc Ock, Shocker, Kraven, Mysterio, Rhino, and Vulture all show up and Spidey isn't sure what too do. But he's faced big battles before he can face this, especially with the suit. He refers to himself as we saying "we can do this". At first it's weird but it doesn't matter. Ock introduces them as the Sinister Six and a battle begins.

A long epic battle that takes span over the place of a few minutes that I can't even begin to describe, but do to intelligence and his symbiote power up. Peter provials. The last villain he beats on is Rhino for a while, Rhino may be bigger, but Peter is stronger now, he stops as Rhino is done now. Almost dead, actually. Peter swings off and realizes that the suitis changing him, but maybe it's for the better, the world needs "us" serious heroes as he refers to himself in plural again.

Webbing home at night, Goblin attacks, with the 6 failed he tries to beat Peter himself. Peter and Goblin go at it for a while, but despite Goblin being physically stronger than regualr Peter the symbiote made Peter more brutal and powerful. He beats down Norman ripping his Glider in two and using a blade about to impale him but stops himself. as he drops it the ring hurts Peter. While peter struggles Norman escapes stating he doesn't need to beat Peter, Peter is beating himself.

Peter fights against and removes the symbiote later and begins recovering from the damage it did to him and his life.

-Other Happenings in the film include Peter being a jerk to Brock and his boss Jonah. He is fired and his girlfriend breaks up with him in a heated argument. All thats left is his Aunt, the symbiote takes over Brock in the end and Venom is born. And Marko comes to Osborn in private begging for powers to humiliate Spider-Man as well.

Thats all I got, before you say tha can't carry a film. It's a basic outline. That won't be all that happens. I just wrote down what Peter will do with the villains.

Ya still can't wait to see what villain (s) are in solo 1 and who are our new guys to hate playing said roles.

Well how I would do it:

Spider Man (origin film) (Part 1 villain)- Green Goblin

Spider Man 2 (sequel film) (Part 2 villains)- Kraven/Chameleon

Spider Man 3 (Part 3 villain)- Scorpion

Spider Man 4 (Part 4 villains)- Shocker/Doc Ock

Spider Man 5 (Part 5 villains)- Sinister Six w/Venom

Spectacular Spider-man movie which should be called for a title. The first villain should be Scorpion when Jameson hires Gargan to investigate Spidey and his involvement with the Avengers. A cameo by Daredevil played by Charlie Cox would be there to be the lawyer that Gargan seeks out for help to investigate. A second cameo by Shocker who is a thief using sonic tech weapon to steal things who Spidey captures leading to Gargan becoming Scorpion

I really also like the idea of just fighting crime, then having the end be the invasion of NY, and do it from Spidey's point of view. That way we could also have a special Avengers 1 battle scene edit with Spidey in there!

That wouldn't work with the timeline. Spidey wouldn't have had his powers during the avengers

ya the invasion of ny was back in 2012 and we know mcu moves real time and civil war is set in real time and mcu 2016. Plus we know spidey only started up some time around or before the events of aou/antman. So so peter back in the battle of ny would have only just 11 or 12 yrs old and wouldnt have his powers yet.

Now for villains and stuff i said it before i really hope they do toss in some lower tier guys as a cold opening/bond style deal or montage scenes in the middle of the film as we do get with these films. So we can show off spidey fighting folks and toadd to the world by instead of just random hooded crooks and muggers to make scenes like that be characters from the comics. Ie your shockers, white rabbit, leapfrog, etc...... guys.

As for first film villain i still rather see mysterio or vulture as both are different from the sciencst route we seen in all the other films. Plus its a different look and feel with them. Personally i still rather hold off guys like kraven/scorpion for a sequel. Kraven more so that spidey been around for a big longer and made his name for a bit. Scorpion so we can see in the first film jjj hate on spidey and build up on it and then in sequel he wants to put a stop on spidey and funds stillwell into making the scoprion and then things go wrong and then we can get some great jjj and spidey sequences.

I prefer Scorpion over Vulture.

The problem is I don't think Scorpion is Big Bad material, because most stories I have seen presented Scorpion lacking the intelligence or the ambition to be a true Big bad. It seems like he would work better as a henchman, rather then the main villain of a film.

Maybe Vulture should be a Big Bad of a film, but have Scorpion be his main henchman, make Vulture more of a schemer then the physical threat to Spidey and have Scorpion fill that role instead.

To give a brief synopsis of my plot for the sequel to the movie I had posted before.

Scorpion would be looking for revenge on Spider-Man and go to the Kingpin for help. The Kingpin would have had his fingers in Roxxon, who've been experimenting on making superpowered people. He'd have given Mac Gargan the scorpion suit which would look like the one from the Spider-Man 3 game, a bit of Ultimate and a nice green shade like in 616. The already mentally weak Gargan would get even worse when the helmet bonds and drills into his skull and stuff which would allow him to control the 12ft tail, which can also fire poisionous darts, projectiles and small lasers.
While Mac goes to get revenge on Spider-Man, there's also another suit requiring testing. The rhino suit. Kingpin volunteers his loyal and dumbass lacky to test it. It's mostly 616 style, but it has these large metal horns on the head and advanced tech in several places to augment more strength and speed.
Long story short, Spider-Man wins his first fight with Scorpion, Rhino takes him by surprise, because none of his attacks/blows seem to do anything and he's forced to run. Rhino breaks Gargan out of jail, he retrieves his scorpion suit and together the two take over Grand Central Station and Spidey fights them both in the final fight.
Spidey would have to rely more on his reflexes, speed and brains to bring the two down and uses them against each other.

I like could, I could handle Scorpion as a villain. Not every villain has to be a super genius.

I think whoever creates Scorpion could be the main mastermind villain, but doesn't need to be a super villain. Kinda like Alexander Pierce in The Winter Soldier, and Scorpion being the main focus villain like Winter Soldier (except not as personal, the more personal conflict could be between Spidey and the mastermind though).

I think a Vulture and Scorpion combo could work with Toomes being the brians and Gargan being the brawn.

Current rumor going around that Vulture will be in the new movie, though not as the "big bad", thank heavens.

Its definitely got to be Mysterio as the Main Villain and Vulture as the secondary villain! Calling it now.

But how would that work. Both of those are villains who should be main villains. Mysterio and Vulture.
