Directors have a big thing about seeing faces for emotive purposes. If the Lizard has a snout rather than proper lips and a face, then the ability to emote would be loss, or so Hollywood continues to assume. For the original Might Morphin Power Rangers movie, they had versions of the helmets that had no visors so that you could see the eyes. Hollywood is just weird that way. Incidentally, it is why you constantly see masked heroes without their masks in superhero films. Furthermore, this is why the new Ninja Turtles have stupid faces rather than noseless beaks.

I am going to be completely honest with you....TMNT 2014 was my favorite movie of 2014. I don't know why. But I really enjoyed it. Saw it five times.
That being said, speaking of reptiles there also low level replacements for the lizard like Komodo, if we want a rest from the Lizard.

I really like Scorpion. His style and abilities would make for a great match against Spider-man. He's almost like an anti spider-man. Designed to be similar but better. His physical abilities are all close to equal with Spider-man, and he might even be stronger.

The scorpion story could make a good movie. It's early in Spider-man's career, but it's after the origin story and Jameson's involvement in creating Scorpion makes it interesting.

Simmons take was never as malicious as the comicbook version. This is shown twice in the Raimi series. In the first film, he lies about Peter Parker being the photographer that takes pictures of Spider-Man. In the second film, when Spider-Man is retired and crime is on the rise, Jameson is shown to be repentant for having spread lies about Spider-Man and contributing to the public's negative perception of Spider-Man. I can't imagine his JJJ having the cruelty necessary to hire Scorpion.

Jameson didn't just hire him, he paid a scientist (Stillwell) to make the Scorpion. Stillwell was practically trying to create another Spider-man, but he chose to use a Scorpion as the source of genes because it's a natural predator of the spider.

I agree that Simmon's JJ wasn't very malicious, but I don't think Jameson would have to be too bad to create the Scorpion. His intentions could be good, maybe he thinks Scorpion will turn out to be an actual hero.

That is probably one of the best live action Lizard looks I've seen. It's not perfect, but I like that the snout isn't overdone. He looks really tough and dangerous.

That pic reminds me of how Lizard looks in a deviantart pic where Spidey hides from him, Mysterio, Gobby, Scorpion and Vulture.

Got dammit now I have to watch Jupiter Ascending. But speaking of villains. I have a question. Most of you want to see new villians in Spider-Man's Third Reboot. Then bring back old villains. But in what order do you want the new villains and in what order do you want them to bring back old villains. For me it's this order.

Green Goblin

That's in the specific order I'd like it to be done first to last. In which movies they'd appear I don't know.


Another thing I think is that the multiple villains aspect can be pulled off but not with major villains. Electro, Rhino could've been pulled off in TASM but Green Goblin was too major to be prominently featured with them. They way I see it is either two minor villians or one major villain and a minor villain. Not 3 villains. in SM3 Sandman and the Black Suit were more than enough, no need for Goblin Jr or Venom yet. They could've saved those for SM4 and 5.

Hobgoblin would be great, either as Roderick Kingsley or Phil Urich (both are good versions IMO). I only know Jason Macendale from the cartoon. Jack O Lantern would be cool also.

Spider-Man's rogues gallery is so great, it's really hard to pick for a trilogy.

I really want Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Lizard to return, yet at the same time I want the likes of Mysterio, Shocker, Kraven, Vulture, Scorpion, Kingpin etc
