Hayter writing would be good, but directing it I dunno. He hasn't directed anything before and who knows how good he is.

Cause I can't verify his myspace account which have several fraud accounts beside that one as well, and everyone I can verify who knows him doesn't seem to know anything...or won't reveal it. I asked those that run the other movie sites and they don't have a method to contact him though I'm sure the big ones like Variety and HR could...they won't do anything for us. LOL Harry Knowles might possibly know how to reach him. Who knows?

possibly, but He needs to stick with just comics. I'm extremely happy with Hensleigh's version.

But there was so much potential that he didn't live up to.

-The death of his family was way over the top, he didn't have over 60 relatives that were killed, it was just his wife, son, and daughter on a nice day in centeral park. He also never did anything to provoke the death of his family.

- Frank Castle doesn't need to be a cop, he's already a marine.

- He let the Toro brothers live, the Punisher in the comics would have wacked them.

- Ennis's characters were unnecessary and the Saints were never from the comics either. They did do a good job with the end of the movie, making it similar to Year One, it would have been a better idea to make the WHOLE movie like a drawn out version of Year One and have no fire hydrants or any of this silly spy stuff that he did. Billy Russo could have been in it as well, and then when they have Jigsaw in Punisher 2, there would be more continuity to the series.

That to me is nitpicking it. If we nitpicked everything then nothing would be enjoyable. I for one loved this incarnation to the Punisher. It stayed true to the character and with the sequel will only take the characterization to another level and will be more of the Punisher that we know.



If Ennis wrote it the Punisher would be in the movie a total of 15 minutes and the rest would be the villain saying ****, ****, suck dick, ********. I think you get the idea.
