I think Maggie is a better actress then Holmes, but Holmes wasn't as bad as some people say she was. She wasn't too bad in Thank You for Smoking, and did anyone else think it was weird that three of the more major characters in that movie all were or ended up in comic book movies?

I didn't like Holmes' performance in Batman Begins, and that's mostly because I don't like Rachel Dawes. A new actress for that character is fine by me ... I just hope that the character is a little less snarky and annoying.

So, anyway, if I like Rachel more in The Dark Knight, I don't think it will be because of the different actress ... It will be because the writing for the character was better.

Hi guys I have not liked Katie Holmes in the Begins movie, she is too young and not serious appearing. The Rachel character must have more of a certain surety with her appearance; these are my advices to Mr Nolan: to make all characters grown up and good thespians, also not to forgetting the verisimilitude of the films. without this great realism and scale of drama, audiences will not believe or trust on the characters. I hope Mr Nolan can read my suggestions and do what is best for the fans...

I do not agree with Talia in BB. She was mentioned, kinda, and that was good enough. However, she has a stage now, and having Talia in a Batman movie would be awesome.

I see Rachel Weisz with a Kate Beckinsale/Van Helsing accent.

Rachel served as a catalist, nothing more, imo.

The only thumbs up I gave to the writier(s), and Rachel was one of the final scenes: Rachel telling Bruce she'll be there when he can return; but for now, he is Batman.

I would have blown chunks if the kissed and walked away into the sunset, without a resolution of the whole Batman thing.

Well, atleast it was Selina; but WB didn't bring her back for a love interest.

Batman Forever: Chase waited outside Arkham for Bruce while he questioned Nigma. They drove off together, I believe.

Batman and Robin: I can't remember if McPherson was in the end, or not.

Agreed. But the ending would have been that much better had Keaton and Pfeiffer been in the third installment and kept up their sex.

Selina and Dent deserved to be the main supporting characters of this franchise. Too bad Dent wasn't in BB and Selina might as well be pushed to the third, or not at all.
