Hey, Spidey lost his parents when he was a child but he's always (almost always) cheerful and cracking jokes. Maybe it was the money that corrupted Bruce. If he grew up in a middle to lower class environment maybe he'd be a happier person. Then again, he wouldn't have any of the resources that make him Batman so he'd probably be working in some dead end job only wishing he had a young boy to wear pantyhose and elf shoes for him.
