look at it this way... superman, for the most part has had the same uniform since day one.... look at wolverine......

First I don't agree that Marvels costumes are better than DC's in general.

Second I wouldn't say that DC is afraid of change. They had numerous costume changes for various characters through the years. Supermans costume was changed drasticly but nobody liked it so they went back. The same has happened with Batman. Wonder Woman has had her costume evolve numerous times through the years. Green Lantern, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Zatana, Hawkman, Hawkwoman, Batgirl, Aquaman, Nightwing, and Robin have all had costume changes.

I think Dc has some of the best costume designes in comics.

A homicidal Juice head or a cliniclly depressed steel man. Lets take a look at both character's lives. Bane, born in a prison forced to live out a life sentence for his father. Became test subject, nearly died, became world class hired killer, rich, broke Batman.

Colossus, born in russia, mutant, came to X-Men, hooked up with Kitty. Lost Kitty. Nearly whole family dead or crazy. Decendant of Rasputin, died, reanimated by alien, expieramented on and torchered for three or four years non stop. Set free, back with Kitty. Banged her through the floor. Still cucoo in the head.

I'm gonna go with Bane.

Edit that, I'll go with Colossus. Bane spent nearly his entire life in jail. An not just a regular prison, a freakin 3rd world prison. No telling what his life was like there.

Collossus hands down. He's the most badass artist ever LoL.
Bane's barely even super human most of the time. I mean Batman can hold his own against him in hand to hand so obviously he's not powerful enough to balance out how ugly and messed up he is.
The only thing he's got going for him IMO is that he once broke batman's back.

Collossus is way stronger, way tougher, he's got great luck with the ladies and he's got a team of incredibly powerful individuals who are all loyal friends at his back.
I'd pick Collossus and then i'd find a way into the DCU and break batman's back again myself just to balance it out.

Plus Colossus gets to throw Wolverine as hard as he can at stuff. Sure Wolverine always makes it out ok, but there is always hope that someday he'll just go headfirst into an adamantium wall...and then explode
