the ultimate cap seems to be more of an a$$hole and is willing to do anything it takes. including using guns. so i see ultimate cap a little darker then marvel cap. thats the main comparison, as far as powers go, im guessing they are about the same. nothing i have seen has shown me other wise.

I'm guessing they have similar power levels, so i'd go for utl cap, he's a badass, doesn't take s**t from anyone, and is willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

616 Cap simply because he's more well-adjusted to being a "man out of time".

616 Cap had to deal with much less crap in his life time. It's really only because more 616 stories took place before comics turned gritty and more realistic, but that doesn't really change anything. I'd say Ultimate Cap is a true war veteran and he really experienced the "man out of time" effect, way more than 616 Cap. That's why I choose 616.

Less Crap? wtf are you talking about? Ultimate Cap didn't see his sidekick tortured in front of him and then blown up. Ultimate Cap didn't track a terrorist to one of the highest posts in the united states government and have his faith in his country shattered because of this revalation. He didn't see a close friend beaten and torchered right in front of him like Cap did during the Seige of Avengers mansion. Less crap? You must be smokin something.
