I doubt he lost the kinetic charge abilities. The poisonous gas was probably just added to what he had. He apparently also got a fair degree of strength considering he was fighting up close and personal with rogue like that.

Either way though I strongly dislike the character so it's only under extreme duress that i choose the regular gambit. (more normal looking. Easier to get da ladies with).
