Selvig is indeed another possibility. He's basically served his purpose in Thor(as has Darcy) and there's no real need for them to be a further part of that mythos. Jane Foster is pretty much the only human in Thor that you'd kinda want to really keep around. The rest of the supporting cast who should return are the Asgardians.

We already know that Coulson isn't dying because Clark Gregg is in talks to appear in Iron Man 3, plus a possible SHIELD TV series and the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. Hill would be a logical candidate if anyone were to die; she's annoying as hell and totally expendable in the movie universe. But I don't see them offing her just yet.

And yes, why are all these zombie threads being reanimated? It disrupted the flow of the forum by burying threads that were more recent and active under crap that has already been resolved. Perhaps the mods should lock and archive threads that are over X amount of months without a new post. That's what I used to do on my forums and it worked well.

Jasper Sitwell was in "Thor". He was the bald guy that was usually around Coulson, and met with him in the diner in "The Consultant".

I've heard that Clark Gregg is in talks to be in Iron Man 3. I think that's a good indicator that Coulson will live.

If there's any previously introduced character that will likely die in this, it's Selvig. As much as I would hate to see it, Coulson, and possibly Hawkeye, could concievably die in sequels somewhere down the line.
