Why are people down on spider man 3?

People are down on it because they enjoy being miserable.

They say VINO this or VINO that.

I didn't see any VINO crap last Saturday. It was the real deal. And even when they see it with their own eyes, they'll still be miserable, because misery is all they know and all they enjoy.

For the morons that aren't noticing it's a major part of the movies.

The footage seemed strongly indicative of that. Harry is NOT getting killed in this movie in the first act *ahem* like in another movie.

There is no sort of Venom either. We are getting Venom.

i just dont think sandman is needed AT ALL....

you could tell raimi wanted him as a personal fav. and the studio/fans demanded venom...... so he just added everything.and raimi won the battle because sandman is somehow the main villain(bigger than venom and GG2? ).

No I saw a movie about was about how a man is defined by his love for a woman. I saw a movie in which the main and only villian had 7 scenes.

yea, i guess u could say he won. But i think y same didnt like Venom becuz he was inhuman an had no soul. thats why Alvin wrote the script, an topher was casted, Eddie Brock began to have a soul an thats when he grew to love the charecter.

I was politely reading this thread until you posted this.
Now you must be stopped...

I think, when debating the realism vs. comics, we have to remember that movies are made to make things that are unrealistic seem realistic.
Thats kind of the point in making movies.
Taking a crazy idea and making it work so the audience "buys into it".
Which is where all the debate derives from in making comic book movies.

Comic book fans want their comic book movies to be just like the comics.
Movies are made to make the completely unrealistic(comics) seem realistic.
So it is all about degrees of realism. If we, as comic book fans, cant let go a bit on the unrealistic attributes of our favorite comics we dont really want movies, we want comics.

Therefore; Who's on second What's on first....

An example of the problem with the debate over the realism middle ground is comic book fans dont need to be told why spidey is in black so we dont see why the explanation has to be so visually obvious.
There is a huge difference between the comprehension level of a comic book fan watching a comic book movie and a movie fan watching a comic book movie.
The directors, writers and actors etc. have to make up the middle ground.
If they didnt the movie wouldnt be made because its all about money baby

And they do matter. Saying the comic books dont matter is like saying lets make a movie but forget the idea and inspiration for the movie we will just make it up as we go along!
