it was the Ultimate version of him, who acts totally different than the 616 version. And those of you who say Bendis suck are you know, not that bright. He's the top selling writer at the moment, he must be doing something right to get the 90% of comic readers who don't b**ch about stuff on the internet to buy his stuff.

that was the 90's, they dont count...most of the people buying comics back then were buying them as an investment during the so calleed comic "boom," and not even reading the issues or caring about what would happen...all you had to do to get something to sell a million copies was give it a shiney cover and a new number 1

The only thing that's different about that now is that the comic just wouldn't reach a million copies. First issues still generally sell much better than any other issue, though, and both Marvel and DC have been getting variant cover crazy again lately.
