I judge a year's greatness by what superhero films were released

2005: Batman Begins, V for Vendetta (terrific year)

2006: Superman Returns, X-men 3 (Disappointed)

2007: Spider-Man 3, Ghost Rider, Fantastic Four 2?? (Disgusted)

2008 however is shaping up to be the best year yet, seeing as how The Dark Knight is coming out

I meant the "Superhero" in the traditional sense of the word, but I guess I would include Transformers as being pretty entertaining. Didn't like 300.

2007 was a year of dissapointment for some countries and 2008 looks to be the same.Just as 2006 was.
