Days of Future Past Why is Azarel in this movie?

It is kinda scraping the bottom of the barrel. But at the same time, I'm sure Vaughn has his reasons for wanting to have the character in the film, and hopefully it will turn out to be interesting.

isnt that mutant called Azazel? not Azrael?

anyway - i figure its there attempt to tie in the previous movies.

Count Eric Wagner was a member of the hellfire club if i remember rightly, and Azazel was at his party...

Mind you i havent read that comic in a while.
