Why the Hate for this Movie?

If you include Krillin now for the sequel the only thing to be excited about is Vegeta.

To keep interest its good to introduce heroes and villains.

X-men 2 brought in Nightcrawler

X-men 3 brought in Beast, Angel

Fantastic Four 2 brought in Silver Surfer

Batman Forever brought in Robin.

This movie is based on the Pilaf and King Piccolo sagas, Krillin wasn't in the Pilaf saga and he was dead throughout the King Piccolo saga.

Vegeta? What about other villains? King Kai? There's so much more they can introduce. Most of those movies you mentioned were still **** no matter who they introduced.

Many hardcore spiderman, batman and tmnt fans would prob disagree.

They can disagree all they want, but it's true. With some minor changes with Spider-Man, it was a faithful adaptation. The same goes for Batman, TMNT, Superman, etc. The list goes on.

Fox evidently thought that made far bigger emotional impact to have goku avenging his grandfather`s death than to have him avenging his friend`s death anmd to have that goku killed hs grandfather himself by falling on him.

Alright...that's fine. That still doesn't change the fact that Krillin could have been included somewhere.

I think fox is going to omit Nappa if they do a sequel with Vegeta simply because they will need a tall and healthy beefed up person and that too bald. Also Fox might probably feel the character is ******ed and useless. Personally I don't want Nappa in live action movies.

They might make it a vegeta+raditz story. Change stuff here and there.

Why wouldn't you want Nappa in the movie? I think he is one of the more intimidating and blood thirsty villains in the series. You also need someone who the weaker characters could hold out against; and someone Goku can demonstrate his greatly improved and superior strength on. Also, none of the reformed villains have ever killed our heroes with their own hands. It has was either by a henchmen or a former version of themselves.

yeah but piccilo has henchmen. so vegeta can have nappa. It just seem to work nicely to have that vegeta doesn`t fight till later. And that nappa the big bruiser is actually the weaker one.

Vegeta and Raditz are just 2 ordinary looking guys with odd hair, Nappa looks frightening. And its good how Vegeta the smaller guy is stronger.

Nathan Jones is perfect for Nappa.

raditz is needed to shuffle goku to the next world and to warn everyone else of the saiyens being on the way.

I doubt they will end the first movie with the hero dying. Its a bit tooo much of a gamble. Especially considering that isn`t how the piccilo saga ended originally. It seems easier to round of film 1 in a sensible happy ending and then have goku get offed at the begining of film 2.

And Kami can warn Goku about the saiyans when he's dead.

Vegeta is introduced into the series as the proud prince of the Saiyan race. After overhearing Piccolo tell Raditz the legend of the Dragon Balls through his scouter, he and his comrade Nappa travel to Earth in the hopes of using the Dragon Balls to wish for immortality, and also exterminate all life on the planet. ​

Sort of needlessly fractures the story if you remove raditz. How would vegeta have learned of the dragonballs? That is his reason for heading to earth.

Maybe bebi tells Super Android 17 who whispers it to janemba who mentions it in bed to brolly who yells it at evil shenron who passes a note to buu who pages cell who sends an e-mail to android 17 and 18 who release a carrier pigeon to head to coola who writes it in frieza`s anniversary card. Which is how frieza knows about it and tells vegeta.

Or maybe piccilo says it and vegeta hears it through raditz`s scouter. Yeah that sounds a bit more sensible. Ergo raditz stays.
