Ghost Rider was by Sony wasnt it
Why the Hate? It's obvious isn't it. The internet is aging and wants to put down anything it considers childish. that's the main reason, and then there are those who have some agenda against fox for messing up fantastic four or whatever.
It's not like every fox movie is bad, so maybe we'll get lucky. Have some optimism you jerks.
Ghost Rider was by Sony wasnt it
Whats wrong with it
I don't get the commotion over that little 5 word line, I think it's blown right out of proportion
If your referring to the movie? Its a bastardization of its source material
that's exactly what you don't want to do to a fantastical anime. that's like taking Final Fantasy and making it a sci fi flick....If Fox made an exact translation of the cartoon people would tear it apart and it would be another Speed Racer, I think one smart thing Fox did was to give this movie a darker and more realistic tone and because of that I'm looking forward to this movie.

....woops! :X
I can't believe Bryce prefers Van Pattens card over mine.![]()
This movie is so underestimated, just because the promo wasn't that cool doesn't mean the movie is going to flop. People are just jumping to conclusions with just seeing one little clip. This film looks to me like it will be interesting to see. I'm not trying to change anyones opinion on this film, but as a kid I watched Dragonball and Dragonball Z. It was an awesome show non the less, but we have to realize you can only do so much to make the Dragonball movie. Flying animals, non-stop screaming Bright green people are out of the count. Just be glad Piccolo is green-ish and give Chatwin a chance com'on.

The thing is they didn't. Giving it and edge or more realistic tone doesn't mean you just throw the source material out. Does it need to be as outrageous as the show? No. You can lose the hair, lose the outfits, lose the more bizarre ideas. You however do not lose the characters.
Why did they feel the need to basically write a story that in almost no way ties into the series, outside the name of the characters? They have destroyed the fundamental thing that make Goku bloody Goku.
Goku is mostly cited for his stylized hair that does not change throughout the series (only when he is super saiyan). They've taken the common traits that make the character and threw them out the window in favor for what the director feels should be more "realistic"
The only rule about Goku's hair is that it matches his personality. He is the kind of person who wouldn't take the time to mess with. Messy hair can be done without making it look like he spent half his life styling it. If you believe his character is only defined by his hair then he is a useless throw away of a character.
If his hair stayed the same throughout the series, why try and change it for a live action movie, there are plenty of ways they could have had recreated that hairstyle, but oh well, they didn't. Still plan on watching it
