Why would you see this movie if....

Check critics also.. there should be reviews just before the movie hits i think. I want to see it to either tear the film apart if it deserves such in a review here, or applaud it... either way itll be worth it just for that lol

Yup. If the general consensus is that the movie sucks, than theres no point in seeing it.

I knew I'd hate CINO when it was in development. Didnt watch it till i snuck in to look at it....and I hated it.....just like 90% of the general audience who werent halle berry fans

Of course they will. They most likely show Logan's escape from Weapon X and even have some interesting flashback sequences. Sabretooth is necessary. And I would expect Deathstrike and Stryker to be a part too. Hell we might even see Ol Jugghead in there.

Oh I certainly hope so! When I watched the original X-Men I was disappointed they didn't work on the fact that Wolverine and Sabes have quite a past together. A little off topic of course I'm still trying to figure out why Dog had scars on his face but Sabertooth does not. Is it because Sabertooth's a late bloomer in terms of his mutant ability manifesting itself? Then again in the Sabertooth miniseries he had fangs as a child according to the memories Birdy dragged out of him. But that's a discussion for anpther forum. I just wonder if Tyler Mane would be up for reprising Sabertooth in the Wolverine spinoff or would they recast the character? It would seem Sabertooth is nowhere to be found as a member of the Brotherhood in X3 or we would have heard about it by now. In character I believe Sabes was never really a team player so I could see him saying "To hell with the Brotherhood." and go into his very lucrative hitman career from the comics.

I can tell ya, that I am pissed off with a lot of things regs X3, just like:

- NO Nightcrawler! Come OOOONNN!
- Cyke dies
- Xavier dies (or do/i-es he?)
- Magneto dies or gets powerless
- Jean dies again!?
- Mystique loses her powers
- Sentinels? Ahahahahahaha! Lmao!! Stupid ****!
- no White Queen, no Scarlet Witch, no anothe rbillion mutants I would have liked to see. And not only me... *ggg*

And for a reason I couldnT understand till today, rattner is not referred to as the best choice for directing (if anybody minds explaining, I would be happy to listen...)

I want X4, 5, 6 ad infinitum. I saw the trailers, they are AWEsome! AWESOME!!! I am a huge X-Fan! I judge over things when the required data is there. And it is NOT there by now.

Sometimes the truth comes out in strange ways...people get smart and just use instinct to spot telltale signs of what LIKELY would be traits of a bad film from past movies. Of course, its not perfect and one should see the film, but pretty damn reliable imo.

Wolverine is most likely gonna happen correct. The same with Magneto considering Ian's update on it. And X4's likeliness depends on how much moolah it brings in. It has already been stated by people involved with the film that they can see it continuing further. Quit with your "no movie past 3 can be good" attitude. And Zak Penn is signed on to direct and write a movie that will most likely showcase the younger X-Men.

It's not really a "no movie past 3 can be good" attitude, it's a "they are obviously concluding the storyline with this movie" attitude.

I don't know if you understand this, but there is a process to storytelling. And despite all of the subplots each movie has presented, there is an obvious continuing story arc between all 3 movies. X-Men is the introduction, X2 is the rising action, and X-Men 3 will be the climax / resolution.

In storytelling, the climax and resolution is the END OF A STORYLINE.

After X-Men 3, their story will have been told, and there will be nothing left to tell in this story.

It's not about movies past 3 sucking. It's about them treating this as the final installment.

It's also about the studios saying no more after this one. If they did make another one, after all the talk about "no more, this is it", it would be blatantly obvious that it's just out to make money, and quality wouldn't be a driving force behind it.

Studios don't know how to call it quits when their stories have already been told. It's the reason we have films like Terminator 3...
