realistic?

you mean they are using a more greyish green so that it better fits in the world? i mean how would bright green and orange buildigns look in NY? but would they be unrealistic?

i dont agree that its more realistic. we are talking here about a giant green monster.

Yep that is exactly what I meant.

I also think they went for the darker colour as it fits in with the tone of the movie and the character of Hulk in the movie as we will see a brutal and savage dark and scary Hulk.

They went for a greyish green because it helps Hulk look more realistic than the bright green used in Ang's movie.

Well I'm sure thats true but I really belive they couldn't decide to do a green Hulk or gray Hulk. I can see them saying that the mainstream audience knows of the character as green, where as we comic dorks would totally love to see a gray version in a movie. They decided Green version would make more money but they threw gray in there to please the fans, and IDK if anyone noticed but the Lou Ferrigno Hulk was a wierd gray green.

i say its easier on the eyes.

its an artistic choice IMO. a more desaturated color just looks better. saturated colors are to kiddy.

Same thing I think. Every artistic choice about things on screen are artistic choices.

I don't think the gray would please fans, yes hulk fans know he started off gray but for most of the time and likely the hulk they love is the green hulk, there are some ofcourse that prefer the gray hulk but I think the majority are all for the green.

I'd say Yes he should speak!

Exactly what I meant in my post above.

Dude is there any place I can read any of the Ultimate Hulk like they did with Ultimate spidey back in the day? I swear thats like the gnarliest Hulk dialouge I've ever read and its like a full sentence.

Oh right, so more of a nod to the diehard fans, I get ya. What I just meant was they could've gone with pure green though (no not Ang hulk) and the fans would've still been pleased.

I hate how the hulk talks in that picture and generally dislike ultimate hulk though he's alot better in 'Ultimate Human'.

Yeah, Ultimate Hulk is like a psychopath. The Hulk gets mad, but he's not a malicious character.

Ultimate Hulk has said worse than that. "Hulk Horny!!" anyone?

Personally don't like the Ultimate cannibal psycho version at all myself, though he does score marks for tearing Wolverine in half.

Granted in Hulk form he usually wants to be left alone, but I wonder if they will integrate any of that semi-egotistical/arrogant side of his, with the "strongest one there is" type persona. He's always felt the need to proclaim it, and does feel somewhat threatened when someone can actually injure him. I suspect Abomination will verbally insult him regarding this.

I think this will be addressed in the film but not verbally
When hulk first arrives at the battle with abomb he flexes his muscles asif to say 'I'm here, I'm the strongest there is' kind of thing, the way chimps present to other chimps
that's just how I interpretted it anyway.

Hulk should talk, not to the level of Banner HULK, but anything we saw Savage HULK say in the comics- that's how it should be done in TIH.

Yes he should.
They need to show the psychological mayhem within the character, show the hate between Banner and Hulk (a pivotal piece of Hulk material). They can keep Hulk smash and puny human and all that cause it will get people pumped for the movie but at some point (and mine as well be in the begining) they NEED to show how Hulk hates Banner.
If the sequel is with Leader than they can have him uncover the secrets of Banners convuluted mind and explore it. They need to show Hulk talks, its ******ed not to.

Somebody else said how they didnt make Gollum not talk because the audience wouldnt buy it and they were right, its the same situation here. Som may say that it's cause Gollum played a pivotal role in the movies and making him not talk would take away from the movie well THIS is the same situation except its involving the MAIN character not a SECONDARY one. Hulk needs to talk, simple as that.

By having the Hulk talk makes him more human. I thought thats what they wanted for this movie. Otherwise he's a scary mute monster ala Frankenstein.

Also making him talk, gives him somewhat more of a different persona than Banner. Banner's his alter-ego, so they need to have different personalities.

He should definitely talk but only where it's necessary and it's to the point.

For instance in the trailer where Blonsky is talking to him and Hulk kicks him that's the perfect opportunity for him to say "Puny human" before he does it.

I want these lines:

Yelled:
"Hulk Smash!!!"
"DESTROY YOU!"

Snarled:
"Puny Human..."
"Bleed"

While calming back down:
"Betty"
"Sorry"
"Breathe"

I think that's as far as you could take it without making him sound too stupid. And give him a hulk version of the guy who did Galactus's voice in M:UA
