Ahhh, but don't you think his spider sense would go off at some point? ;)
Actually, I have no idea if it would or wouldn't as his 'spider-sense' has some pretty wonky uses..it all just depends on who's writing the book I guess.

I figured it only happens when in actual danger, but like you said, it depends.

Went shopping today and got a pretty new dress at Gordman's. Also went to Walmart. I saw a Spider-Man pillow pal. Couldn't decide if I wanted to buy it or save the money for something else. It's really cute though. And I already have money for stuff that I really want to get right now. I might buy it next time I go to Walmart, though Mom said it was a "kiddie thing", which is odd because I have several stuffed animals that can be considered kiddie stuff.

At a restaurant I use to eat at a lot it had that crane game with stuffed animals you could win, after a couple years of playing they added up. I had like 3 full garbage bags full of stuffed animals. Living alone with all these just looked weird to me so I bagged most of them up and dropped them off at a donation center. :funny:

Still. If she's walking up the stairs, he's not gonna have time to neatly pack everything away. :P

Lucky. Last time I played that crane game, I tried to win a Spongebob doll, but didn't get it, even though I tried like 20 times. But I like to play that game just to see if I can do it. I've got plenty of stuffed animals. One time I won a slinky and some rubber bands at the same time.

Haha same with my mom.. few weeks ago, when shopping with my mom in a mall and I saw a really cool Spidey slipper. I was just staring at it and she said.." geez, Nicole ( yea that's my real name), you are 18 years old and still like playing Pokemon games, reading Spider-Man comics, watching cartoons , etc,...* paused and BIG sigh*..... good lord, I don't know what to do with you. "

I remember that in one day when my friend and I were texting each other. She asked me what's up and I said nothing much just reading some spidey and wolverine comic books. She said omg your sooo nerd! I told her yea, I am proud of it and that's who I am. You cant change that, so **** ( I didn't really say that but wanted to do that lol )

My dad is sort of a nerd. He's obviously not as big of a nerd as all of us are, but he's seen almost every mainstream comic book film and usually enjoys them a lot. I bet if we had a bunch of comics here, he'd read them.

And i'm pretty sure he owns a pair of Spider-Man boxers. :funny:

My parents are baffled by my nerdiness, yet supportive.
They were more concerned back when I was in middle school and had no friends and was kind of a weird reclusive, anti-social nerd.
Now that I've blossomed into a charming, sociable, handsome weird nerd (;)) they're less concerned. They still find it odd and make comments every now and then ("You're 19 years old and still watch Spider-man cartoons?" "Yeah, **** you mom") but overall they don't mind. Makes christmas and birthdays easy, cause if you get me something Marvel I'm guaranteed to love it hahaha.

Modern Warfare 3 is so much fun. Might be my favorite game this year, which is saying something since this is the year has been amazing for games.

& next weekend I'll be sucked into Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.

same story, man. except I'm only 16 :awesome:

I still need to get Skyrim. MW3 is the kind of game that gets boring for me after an hour. I don't like games where you shoot whatever moves. Plus MW3 is hardly different from the other MW and CoD games, just newer. And my cousin has those games.

I'll probably be able to get Skyrim in 2 weeks. Trust me, if I could have I would of got it as soon as it came out.

and my family doesn't know about my geekdom. nor do my friends. its a secret...shhhh.

My parents are actually very supportive of my nerdiness. In school, I was [for the most part] anti-social, introverted, and nerdy and I never heard them say anything about it. I still watch kids shows and movies, have plenty of stuffed animals, so that's why I thought it was weird that she considered the spidey pillow pal kiddie. And I'm proud to be a nerd too. :yay:

I figure I can get my moneys worth with Skyrim, you think?

I'd say so, it definitely has a lot of variety. Have you ever played an Elder Scroll game before...?

I never did, can't see myself doing so anytime
Still :whatever: on first person. Mirror's Edge only intrigued me due to comments on ASM trailer

Never played elder scrolls, Big into RPG games though such as WoW, LOTRO, etc.

Ah, glad we have the same story there haha. So I assume middle school was the worst years of your life as well? That might be true for most/all of us but I'm just curious haha.
And as for the MW3/Skyrim debate, I'd go skyrim.
I haven't played either of these games to be honest, I'm really not much of a gamer at all in the slightest. Only games I'll play and buy are Marvel games :woot: But both of my room mates are HUGE into xbox, and they've been playing skyrim since it came out and it looks dang interesting. There's sooo much to do on it, you could literally play for weeks straight (and my room mates are...)

Ok so everybody know my birthday is Nov 17. BUT i want to get MW3 this week. But as no surprise my parents pulled the ol your birthday next week card on me.

I refuse to buy that $60 DLC called MW3. What's the point in buying a game that I already played last year and the year before that, and that will become obsolete in a year when the next $60 repackaged DLC comes out?

Not to mention the fact that they charge $15 for extra DLC for that DLC.

I've been playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion on and off for the past 6 years...
That's Elder Scrolls for you
