Oh how I miss TSSM. I think I would be less bummed about the whole thing if there had been more of a resolution to the series, but it was left on all these cliff-hangers.

I still replay it, I enjoy it so much I had to have one on PC as well (completed it 3 times on PS3)

SM2 has a more fun story compared to BAA imo, and I enjoy gameplay there more

Arkham City is the best comic books and superhero games in general, it's great, and much much better than its predecessor

Batman: Arkham Asylum's story is far superior, with themes and ideas, while Spider-Man 2: The Game butchered the story of the awesome film.

Combat is what you make of it. It doesn't have to be 'button mashing' unless you want it to be that way. Stringing together combos is how I like to play games instead of continually hitting the square button or whatever it is on XBox. And that goes for AC too...I have seen several videos on youtube where people are just button mashing the combat and it looks really stupid.

That being said, I am tired of the comparisons between SM2 and Arkham games. It's silly. SM2 is how many years old? Seven? Eight? It is very outdated. Both games are true to the characters but Arkham is all original story while SM2 is obviously drawn directly from the movie, with side stuff thrown in there. Hopefully the Amazing Spider-man game comes through with bright shining colors and then we can have a discussion about comparing it to Arkham.

Spider-Man 2's combat devolved into spamming Impact Web before nearly every attack by the time the story mode was over.
Batman: Arkham Asylum never had that problem.

I made it through the day with no sleep. Although I almost nodded off a couple of times.

I wouldn't call it far superior, if you may call it that way say it's superior, but not far

The game did some stuff better with Ock than the movie did, like how he turned to crime and why, and Rosie, plus it did the best job inserting other villains to challenge

Ease up the anger folks, this is a happy thread

I really like this guy and follow his videos, from one time to another

How so?
SM2 did, however, adapt the train fight sequence, one of the most exhilarating fight scenes in recent film history, into a boring static boss fight in which Doc Ock stands in one spot the entire time.

Lol, that's one trouble with movie tie-ins

I went a whole day with no sleep one time. It was the day I went on vacation, so I had fun, even though I had a hard time keeping my eyes open.

To late I guess but happy new year everyone! :D

So, what did everyone do for new year?

I went to a crazy party + sleepover at friends afterwards.. Went to bed at 8am yesterday and we all slept untill 4pm... And I think I may have had too much drinks btw... It was definitely the best NY's evening/night for me that I've ever had.

New Years Eve and New Years Day is just another day for me, so I didn't do anything. I don't like to stay up late.

Just saw the new years ball drop, god that was awesome. The year of Spidey!!! :spidey:

Going to Monday Night Raw. My parents love it, but I don't watch it. Not looking forward to it. Stuff like that is always noisy. Wish I could stay home, but my older brother is going too, so I can't stay at home which is messed up because if he can stay home alone when my parents are out of town, I should be allowed to stay home alone too. I do plan to play my DS the whole time, but I'd prefer to stay at home.

Your parents are too protective. You're 19 for christs sake.

Well, they trust me to be home alone and if there was a fire or something, they know I'd know what to do, but if something did happen, it would take them about an hour to get home. I am allowed to stay home if they're at the store or something, but if they're going out of town, my brother has to be with me or I have to go with them. But still, if my brother can stay home alone [who by the way, one time threw a party while we were on vacation which trashed the house] when they're out of town, I should too.
