can't wait till I get a 100 x100 avatar. not long to go now!

Why does it take until I am on an airplane to finally have time to post?

Hello, everybody!

I don't know of any other boards where you need so many posts just to get an avatar.

Well, they trust me to be home alone and if there was a fire or something, they know I'd know what to do, but if something did happen, it would take them about an hour to get home. I am allowed to stay home if they're at the store or something, but if they're going out of town, my brother has to be with me or I have to go with them. But still, if my brother can stay home alone [who by the way, one time threw a party while we were on vacation which trashed the house] when they're out of town, I should too.

That does kinda suck...

and I know exactly how you feel.

It wasn't till I was like 18 when i spent a whole week by myself at home with my folks outta town.

In terms of video games..I still feel SPIDER-MAN (PS1) is the BEST superhero game EVER!

In terms of comparing combat from Spidey games to the combat of the Arkham games..give me a frigging break the combat in the arkham games are a joke.

sure the animations look cool and flashy..but the way you execute them is just ughhh...comparing the use of an attack and dodge button..SM2 the movie got it right..Arkham games are flawed in that area...dodging and counter-attacking are far easier to do in that game thank Arkham Asylum and City....

you can time the counter attacks as perfectly as you can and still have a thug end up hitting you.

And people act like the free flow combot is so new and revolutionary...IT'S NOT...it's just like SM2, USM, SM3, WoS, SD, and EoT:

when multiple enemies are around you, just spam the attack button and move the directional stick towards the enemy you want to hit, and badda bing, badda boom..."Free-Flow" combat.....

I'd rather be able to actually do all the cool flashy moves myself..rather than sitting in one spot..surrounded by enemies..moving the analog stick around and spamming one button and occasionally trying to press another in order to dodge & counter-attack..

Not to mention the Arkham games sometimes feel more repetitive than Edge of Time..
going into a room, oh guys with guns, grapple to gargoyles up top, take thugs out 1 by 1 while their boss is talking smack to them on the radio...go into another room, use detective mode...etc. wash rinse repeat..

don't get me wrong,,I like the Arkham game just as much as if not more so than the other guy..but give me a break people, they aren't as awesome as everybody makes them out to be..are they awesome? yes..do they deserve SOME hype? yes.

are they best BatMan games ever? yes

best superhero games ever? hell no.

Do Spidey games need to be more like the Arkham games? hell to the effin no.

From my perspective..Spidey is extremely underrated why Bats is waaay overrated. I realized this at a young age..which is why I went from lovin' BatMan, to Lovin' Spider-Man at the age of 9.

Best decision related to comics and pop-culture I ever made

Oh my god, not this again

Frozen yogurt or ice cream, which do you prefer?
I'm an ice cream guy all the way, sometimes yogurt feels a bit sour for my liking

I think that you guys should know that this subject should goes back to it's home (aka the video game thread). Not here.

I know this is Lounge thread but..........still.

ITT: spida-man discusses how bad he is at fighting in Batman: Arkham Asylum/City and tears the game down because of it

Ice cream for sure. If I want to have yogurt I'll just have yogurt, won't bother with the frozen stuff. I really like frozen custard though, it's extremely smooth.

If you choose frozen yogurt over ice cream, you have no soul.

Monday Night Raw wasn't so bad. The only bad parts was when in certain parts where they introduced the wrestlers. Certain parts were too loud and one video was creepy and both made me jumpy. While I knew nothing bad was going to happen, stuff like that made me think of bad stuff happening. Also, I couldn't have the right armrest because my brother was using it which was a bit uncomfortable. Also, I love my family, but I wish they had mute buttons because for whatever reason, there are times when I hate listening to them talk and yesterday was one of those times. I re-played my Iron Man 2 DS game the whole time on my new 3DS which was cool. I'm trying to get 100% on it. I'm at 93% right now. I'm trying to find all of the comic covers and concept art in the game. There's only a few more I need to find and I'm searching every last corner of the game to find them. I still say the game would've been better if they had made it more challenging because while I like the game, it was a bit too easy.

I can agree with some of this.
