Honorable mention: 2013 - The Roman Empire Rises.

Awesome post. It would be nice to see one for every year. The Shield debut is one of them . Also Owen convincing His mother to throw in the towel for Bret was one of my favorite moments . Owen was such a bastard , I loved it. It's a shame this year , I'm not that hyped for Survivor Series.

There has to be more to the McMahon-Savage story than Randy walking out without notice and joining WCW.

Short version:

1.) McMahon didn't let Savage's father compete in a legends battle royal.

2.) McMahon had Savage sitting on the sidelines starting in 1993 (even though he could still go in the ring) and also denied his program requests against Hart and Michaels.

3.) Savage left WWF without notice and took the Slim Jim contract with him because he wasn't happy just being a commentator.

4.) Savage slapped McMahon in a bar.

5.) After being called a dinosaur by Helmsley, Savage threatened to kick his ass and have sex with Stephanie.

Add all that up especially the bolded part and you can see why there was a falling out with Savage and WWE after 2003. Financial and personal disagreements are more believable than Savage being a pedophile.

I ordered the first issue of Smackdown magazine with The Macho Man's interview so I'll post a transcript of it in a few weeks.

Wow that bolded part is crazy.

and there were always the rumors that the Macho Man deflowered Steph when she was 16/17

Watching PWG Untitled II. Really fun match between Brian Cage and Uhaa Nation. Save for Cage almost killing himself with a lionsault.

Wanna point out that I, too, am a supporter and fan of Lucha Underground. Just a fun time.

No Owen convincing his mother to throw in the towel during Bret vs Backlund with proceeding celebration? Boooooo.
Owen was on my ****list for a long time after that. I still really like that match, because I felt so betrayed as a youth watching that.

This is very sad to read. One of my best memories from an indy show happened in the early to mid 2000s. Kamala was coming to the ring for a match and looked right at me. As a fellow fat man, I was compelled to stand up and smack my belly along with the mighty Ugandan Giant. That was just a fun moment, and has stuck with me since. Can't remember the match, but I can say I saw Kamala wrestle live and share a belly smack.

I respect Backlund as a worker because he was great, but he wasn't somebody I'd jumped out of my seat for. Recently, I'm having a field day though by going back and watching his heel promos. Not sure if great actor or legit bat sh** crazy!
A little from column A, a little from column B.

When Kamala was on Austin's podcast, I had to stop when he starting going into his health troubles. It was getting too much and too close to home.

As of earlier this week, WWE officials still had not decided on a finish for the Team Cena vs. Team Authority Survivor Series main event and were still unsure of the TLC main event.

Vince McMahon reportedly wants The Authority off TV for a while and has at least talked about bringing the Mr. McMahon character back to TV. It was noted that Vince even complained to some that WWE Network subscriber numbers would be higher if he had been on TV pushing the Network.

The behind the scenes drama between Vince and Triple H is said to be still brewing but a source said it’s more passive aggressive lately. There have been no incidents or big blowups backstage, or any other obvious dissension.

TNA has announced a multi-year TV deal with Destination America and iMPACT! will begin airing on the network in January 2015. There have been rumors that TNA will have a total reboot when it debuts. TNA producer Bryan Edwards said on Twitter it will be a “fresh start”. He wrote:

“@AriesK47: @Bryan_Edwards @IMPACTWRESTLING @DestAmerica New logo and graphics? :D” new everything. Fresh start

Bottles popped, celebration over! Time to get back to editing @IMPACTWRESTLING for @DestAmerica in 2015 pic.***********/KF2PjQitX4

TNA President Dixie Carter added:

It was a big day yesterday w/top execs from @DestAmerica at our offices. MANY exciting announcements coming…..VERY SOON…..

Vince thinks putting himself on tv more will boost subscribers...

:lmao:

I hope they acknowledge Cena's ****** leadership in the match on Sunday. He never seems to be there to back up his team.

If TNA claims there will be a new start, I might give the show a chance again for a few months. See if it really a new program or just the same old **** in a shiny new package.

NXT: That Steen promo was ace. Short and sweet. I'm so pumped for Takeover 3. :mrk: A Corbin/Bull feud could be interesting. I'd like to see what else Baron can do besides the End of Days. Apparently he works a few longer matches at the live events and is said to be pretty good. And that was a really great heartfelt promo from Sami. NXT = solid.

Smackdown: I enjoyed the final beatdown and ending way more than the one on Monday. Actually, I enjoyed SD more than RAW this week. It felt like the REAL go home show. Trips sold the PPV well at the start and end and Dean/Bray's segment was amazing. Pure example of great mic work. Yes, their feud has progressed the most through Smackdown but man they delivered.

Also, AJ dressed at Nikki though. :DV::hrt:

seriously the guy admits to punching women yet hes the real man. **** that

He's also trying to play himself off as some advocate for equality because he punched two women in the face.

WWE produced but it involves Lanny Poffo and his mother doing a lot of talking along with a lot of vets he worked with and of course... No Vince in sight.

You can get it in HD on ITunes for 12.99 and rent it for even less.

Man, Vince still holding that grudge postmortem. :( Is it part of the new Macho Man DVD set?

That is awesome!

So Kofi and Big E will win the tag titles within the next month or so I guess.

Oh of course, Just telling you how you can get it for cheap...In case you don't feel like buying an expensive set lol.

Will it be "Showtime Folks?"

According to PWInsider.com, Sting is scheduled to make his WWE TV debut at Survivor Series on Sunday night.

As of now, Sting is only scheduled to appear at Survivor Series and not next week’s WWE TV tapings.

A blurry first look at NXT's Shoot Nation:

Stable consist of Chad Gable, Angelo Dawkins, Jason Jordan, Tucker Knight, and Sawyer Fulton.

Apparently they are looking to be a heel faction that are entitled because they have "real" wrestling accomplishments and aren't just trying to live out their dream... Totally Paraphrasing there
