I kind of think they did do that a bit. I like the whole aspect of him going through electro shock therapy and getting droppped in ice water. That and the whole father angle I think added some meat to the original story.

Yup. The sneak peak they gave fans at last years Comic-Con leaked and it had some pretty decent gore. It was **** quality and kind of hard to make out but you could still tell what was going on.

HOLY!!!
Just by looking at these stills this movie looks like its going to rule, and not only that but, looks like it can be one of the most justified remakes. 
im also happy the filmmakers didnt modernize it and made it a period piece, which makes it even better.

Agreed! The last one with The Wolfman on top of the gargoyle howling over the London cityscape is breath-taking!

As gory as it may be, The Wolfman is one of those characters that people of all ages know about. Dracula is different because he's more on the sexual side, so his flicks always get R ratings. Wolfman is like....a furry.

I just got a feeling that the movie will be a dissapointment due to the numerous delays. Seriously, I've never seen a movie being moved around SO MUCH in my life.

Just watched the trailer...INCREDIBLE. With such a stella cast, this movie could be to the Wolfman character, what Bram Stokers Dracula was to the Dracula character. Funny that Hopkins is in both! I can't wait.

I loved the trailer, some cool beats like the shot of Talbot peaking through the door in the beginning and I loved the universal logo shot.
"Scotland yeaaard."
I noticed that in the beginning where the dude with the lantern looks like he gets stabbed. In the CC footage it looks like he sees it an runs away. One of the things I'm worried about. God, you don't know how worried I am about these reshoots. If the movie isn't as good as we hoped, the reshoots could be the case. i just hope it doens't have too much action. I wish they mixed bits with the CC trailer which had a very creepy and scary atmosephere and osme stuff in this trailer. I also wish they just left Hopkins saying, "You've done terrible things..." which was spot on in the CC trailer. Here it's off with the add on line.
And I hated the damn ****ing generic music towards the end of the trailer. It just cheapens the mood for me. You could of used the music in the CC trailer.
