was the last time you bought it before christmas?

No comic is worth Lateness. However, this one is darn near it. I get frustrated, but at least this one hasn't made me bitter.

And as for the Lateness Prize... I think that one goes to Planetary.

Of course, I'm not including Daredevil:Target, since there's no intention of actually finishing that mini.

hey... does anyone remember the Iron Fist/Wolverine mini a while back?
It occurs to me that I got the first two issues of it, and then never saw hide nor hair of the rest of the series.
I dont even know if they finished it.

I am pretty sure they did. I can't recall a mini of Wolvie's that didn't finish besides Ultimate/vers Hulk and that's wrapping up now as we speak. I get all of Logan's stuff. :) You might want to go online and look fro those back issues. I doubt they would be very high. Mighteven be the same or less than cover price.

Iron Fist/Wolverine: The Return of Kun Lun shipped all four issues. They are showing up as above cover price, even with "sale" price, on Mile High.

I was trolling the Marvel website for release dates when I noticed that Wolverine #72 is now scheduled to ship a week after Wolverine #73, so I think the one-shot is probably going to come out when the Dark Wolverine issues finish.

I find this humorous.

I think it's going to actually be a One-Shot not in the Wolverine series. you know like those things everyone complains about all the time, except this one will be good. and Marvel are geniuses they figured out 73 comes before 72.

cant wait for the last issue. something about it makes me feel like this isnt the last we'll see of the OML universe. Millar mentioned it briefly he'd like to continue in the series, but i think he's serious.

I hope he doesn't continue it cause then he'll somehow connect 1985, his Fantastic Four run, and Old Man Logan in ways they shouldn't ever be connected. I think OML is fun but it's something I'd prefer to see just in these 8 issues. Usually when someone writes something with no intent with continuing after it wraps up when they get an idea to continue it further down the line(most likely due to its popularity) its not on par with the original. Put it this way if the OLD story is supposed to be Wolverine's TDKR, the follow up could be TDK2. But this is Millar not Miller so my notion could be completely off. If it does continue hopefully its good and not done for the reasons I stated above.

yes when is the final chapter out? I've seen the solicit for the trade of the series, but not for the last issue. does that make sense?

ok the Marvel site says it comes out September 23rd. but I'll wait till we see on the diamond list to make it official.

I didn't read that but I saw the image was that just his skeleton controlled by Polaris or was he actually alive in it?

I'm behind on Fantastic Force. I forget where I heard that the timeline was the same.

I just wiki searched Fantastic Force and it says that Wolverine could possibly be connected to OML universe. so there we go Millar ideas are all connected 1985, his Fantastic Four run where the new Fantastic Force came from, and Old Man Logan, hopefully if he continues OML Doom's master doesn't show up.

When's it out?
September:

I've been so behind on comics that I've just given up reading for now. All except for this, I hunted down all the back issues and eagerly read them in one sitting.

Only to find out there is no ending! Ugh, hurry up September. Please.

Also, how amazingly perfect would it be if this was translated to the big screen?

If they were to make a movie, this would be perfect. :D I loved this thing from end to end.

DAMN! HULK looks scary as hell in that image! lol Still, my bet's on Logan, you do NOT piss logan off!

I haven't gotten a chance to read it, but I've really wanted to any idea when it will come out all together? or has it even concluded yet?

If the conclusion makes it out on time in September, the collected versions should be coming for October or November. You can bet there will be a hardcover. :D

Maybe I missed it or I was high, but I can't believe no ones commented on Wolverine: Old man Logan. I think it's one of the best stories I've read from Marvel in quite a while. Bringing in Hawkeye was a unexpected stroke of genius.
Also the art and inking are really good and beautifully detailed. The whole concept is bloody brilliant. I just wondered what everyone else thought about it. And on a side note, how the hell did Thor die? :)

Old Man Logan should have been a miniseries, not a part of the actual Wolverine book.

I've loved it so far but the fact that they've amped up the last issue (a one shot) into $5 comic kinda sours me on it and I'm debating if I'll even buy the issue. I can't stand Marvel pricing these days and they cheap ways they're jumping things to $4, let alone $5. I opted to not buy Amazing Spider-Man 600 or Incredible Hulk 600 due to the price tags. There's tons of mini's that I was curious about that I've not bought due to the $4 price tags. I plan on dropping all the Avengers stuff due to them jumping up to $4 once Dark Reign is finished when I had no plan to drop them before now. I was loving Old Man Logan at $3 an issue. It was well worth it. But suddenly here's the final part of a story that everyone's already into and invested in, and then take the final issue, the issue that wraps it all up, and charge an extra $2 a person for those extra few bucks. I understand marvel's a company and they need to make money, but I'm getting to the point where I don't think they're worth the money they're asking.
