I dont see how. I mean his sense of smell is excellent but it's not magical.

Just as a reminder, but you are talking about a comic where Wolverine singlehandedly kills the entire X-Men. Tracking a piece of metal across the entire world by smell makes at least as much sense as that.

Does anyone have any idea when part 8 of this story comes out? part 7 of 8 is Wolverine #72(scheduled for April 15th), but Wolverine #73( scheduled for May 6th) is the start of 2 stories by Jason Aaron and Daniel Way. I remember seeing some where that part 8 will be a double sized one-shot. but its not solicited anywhere on the Marvel site. Since it's a Millar book should I assume it'll be out by the end of July?

Good question. I just looked over the solicits and yeah the conclusion of Old Man Logan hasn't been solicited yet. July maybe? Hard to say with the title changing to Dark Wolverine for a bit...

No part 8 of the story is going to be in a 1-shot. probably titled Old Man Logan. but thats not even solicited.

This book is solid gold and one of the best Wolverine stories out there. Millar and McNiven are running on all cylinders and have created an instant classic.

I've actually found this story to be better than just about all of the "events" of the last few years (Secret War, Civil War, Secret Invasion, Final Crisis, Batman RIP, etc)

Yeah, I've enjoyed this as well. Just disappointed it comes out so slow. :(

Well Millar said he wants this to be like Wolverine's version of The Dark Knight Returns.

So what? We'll have to wait at least three months to get the last of it? :( That stinks.

Yeah, right. You saw him killing all of the other Xmen? Especially since every pic they showed in the previous issues was him fighting Omega Red or some other villain.

But you saw him kiling the Xmen. I def believe that.
Come on, man. there's no need to be so touchy. Think about it: Wolvie is a stone cold killer who gives it to anyone who deserves it. The only way to get him to a point where he is so remorseful that he'll never pop his claws again is to take away what's most important to him, in this case his greater family, the X Men. Duping him into a situation where he unleashes his ferocity on his own people is the only thing that can kill him.

ok now on the Marvel site Wolverine #72 is scheduled for May 20th, but Wolverine #73 is scheduled for May 13th. this is frustrating

You can't go by the Marvel site. You have to go by the Diamond shipping list. It's better if you go to the "Comics" forum here, look under "Marvel Comics" and you should see the schedule for this week's and next week's books. That's what I use and it's so much more accurate. :)

I dont think its Millar's fault, he usually has his scripts done way in advance, i think its definitely Mcniven thats slowing the book down, his art is beautiful but takes a long time to draw.:csad:

I don't remember his FF 4 book being this late... :(

I realized that a while ago. I used to write my pull lists 6 weeks ahead of time and then I'd have to rewrite them after the first 2 weeks cause on the marvel site they post everything all over the place and then change it the 2 weeks later.

Me, too. The DC lists aren't any better and I won't even get started on Image.... these guys suck. :p I only use the Diamond list now.

remember when kickass #6 was supposed to come out in January. lol

Been gone for a bit, but has the newest issue arrived yet? :)

Still not as bad as All Star Batman and Robin. That one takes the prize for lateness.....

well that went on an indefinite hiatus a while ago but is was recently announced that Miller and Jim Lee are going to do 7 more issues to finish it off. such a waste of Jim Lee's talents.

I am looking forward to that. :) I really liked it and it was always worth the wait just like Old Man Logan has been.
